Apparently Barca will consider listening to offers.
Think he's what we need in the middle with Matic. Failing that I'd like to see Ross Barkley brought in.

Think there's a bit of dead wood in that position at the moment and could do with moving on.

Ramires, whilst I'm grateful for what he's done for us, is one hell of a liability. Lampard, unfortunately, is past his best. Although I hope he remains at the club in a coaching capacity/bit part player. And Mikel is too slow going forward.

    In

    Fabregas/Barkley
    Costa
    Shaw
    Lukaku
    Courtois

    Out
    Ramires
    Ba
    Torres
    Mikel

Can't believe that we didn't address the striker situation last summer. The league would have been sewn up weeks ago!! Now I've got to live with the Mrs (Liverpool fan) lording it over me for the next 20 years!

Fabregas and Mourinho have been at each others throats all season? He'd never play under Mourinho IMO, overrrated anyway.

Something like Eto'o in Barca against Jose in Chelsea? DL - it is nothing personal, strictly business.

Overrated - I am not so sure, kid carried goons - occassionally even on one leg - for so long!!

Fabregas is best played as a number 10, or in a forward area of midfield, you don't want to waste a player with his ability as a CDM. He is twice the player of Oscar though, so he would definitely improve your side. Problem is would a player who's always played for attacking sides, want to come and play the trench warfare stuff that Mourinho subjects his players to playing. I seriously doubt it

Read recently ( and obviously a wind up ) that we will offer Oscar + cash for Modric.
It is starting to look as if Oscar is not the answer, despite Jose giving him a leading role. My opinion is he's still a bit immature and will be hugely better next season. Hope we stick with him.

The last thing you guys need is another CAM. I think you'll spend big on a striker, don't think you'll spend big on a CAM. I can see lallana though.

I would bloody love Barkley! Though I very much doubt Martinez would let him go with Everton now pushing for top 4. Fabregas meh

    In
    Barkley
    Costa
another LB - Shaw would be good, but from what I hear he is going to utd
    Lukaku
    Courtois
    Zouma
    Betrand

I'd like us to cut some of the dead wood

    Out
    Ba
    Torres
    Eto'o
Luiz - Liability! If Barca or anyone wants to pay £30m I would snap their hands off!
    Mikel
    Marin
Cole - sad to say but I hear he is USA bound
    Moses
Piazon, Romeu, McEacheron, Kakuta etc that apparently aren't good enough and get sent out on loan for a loss on their wages year on year

Might even break even on that lot. Though Costa, Shaw and Barkley will all be £30+ I'd think

Apparently, you've agreed a €36m fee for Fabregas.

Where have you seen that? I've so far seen that we've bid and apparently held talks with him twice last week.

Only on Twitter, but from someone who's often accurate with such things and the bookies odds have also just been slashed to 1/2 on him joining you.

Bookies are rarely wrong but I sure hope they are this time. Fabregas is not the answer to our midfield problem, just another problem waiting to happen.

Really? I think he could be exactly the answer if paired with Matic in the middle, similar to his Arsenal days with Flamini. He has a good work rate and brilliant on the ball. I don't particularly like the guy (probably due to being an Arsenal/Barca boy) but can't deny he is a fantastic footballer.

Look at Lampard, Joe Cole and Ashley Cole, all came from rival London teams but would we have rather they didn't, not a jot.

Deco and Eto'o both had their worth despite having Barcelona in their genes.

Fabregas is just the creative player we need.

    Fabreagas - Matic

    Willian - Oscar - Hazard

    Costa

So much creativity, work rate and goals in that front 6.

If we bring in Courtois and Lukaku then I think we are a top CB and/or left back away from being finished this summer. It looks like Schwarzer is staying and Zouma/Kalas have been tipped for loans.

I was thinking the exact same thing re the front 6 and to think we could fund those deals by selling luiz and adding about 15 million cash (which is about the profit we made from Jan deals). That would be amazing business IMO.

    Out

    De Bruyne
    Mata
    Luiz

    In

    Matic
    Salah
    Costa?
    Fabregas?

pretty much evened out and a much more balanced first 11 to speak of.

Luiz and Mata I think we can get past letting go, but something tells me we may end up regretting selling De Bruyne, every time I watch him for Belgium he looks so impressive. We sold him then sold Mata, other way around and he probably would have stayed and we would not have signed Salah.
