Youve had a 100million every summer and signed one expensive player. I dint believe you have 100mil. Closer to 50 and whatever you get from sales.

Sign a striker and a defensive midfielder and whoever else we need.
And then you just bring in the other guys when need be.

Line 1: we are not overstocked in midfield. We have regularly not had a proper bench this season and at one point we where relying on kallstrom to come in and do a job. We can definately fit at least one more midfield player. Most people want a defensive mid, but a deep lying mid in the Arteta/Gerrard mould would work as well, fabregas would do his phenomenally.
Line 2: I agree, fabregas can play anywhere along the front 6. Very versatile player. Just another reason why he'd be a good signing.
Line 3: I fail to see how us signing a world class player is somehow good for other clubs. Think your clutching at straws there. The other big boys would hate it if we signed fabregas. He's world class and would take any team in the prem up a level. As for scoring goals - your making the same stupid assumption that signing fabregas means signing no striker.
Line 4: fabregas would play basically every game at any club in the prem. total nonsense about only one club offering him that rofl. Wishful thinking on your behalf. He's good enough to displace any midfielder in the prem and get a first team spot. He would not be some rotated player being pushed out onto the wing at arsenal. He'd be played predominantly through the middle.

I'm not talking fairy tale amounts thrown around by the mirror and the sun. I'm talking about us being in a strong financial position where should we choose to splurge on a couple of very expensive players we could do so. Signing fabregas for 30m would not stop us going in for a striker.
And who is to say the striker we want will be available? Who's to say we won't have to go for a stop gap this year? This is real life not football manager. If the chance to sign a proper world class player arises it should be taken.

It would be like us signing ozil of you guys now. A bit pointless and still leaves a huge gap unfilled.
Remy will address that hole somewhat but i would assume he is one of two strikers you are after. Wouldn't be overly confident having remy, giroud and the other yaya as strikers.

Benzema, cavani, Costa, suarez.
All likely to be available this summer. 30 to 60million would get any of them (suarez maybe not as liverpool thunk hes worth a billion)
Firstly there is more chance of hell freezing over than us signing Suarez this summer, no point mentioning him at all, there is no chance of it happening no matter how much money we spend. 60m is definitely not enough for him.
Costa I reckon already has a deal in place with Chelsea.
I'd like to see us go for either cavani or benzema but both of those will only become available depending on what psg and real do in the transfer window. So whether either will actually be available is still up in the air.
There is no guarantee of a world class striker being available, or that we are the club who can attract said player when several clubs are likely to be in for those players.
And my point was you can't guarantee the type of player at the level you want will be available during the transfer window you want to strengthen that position.
If a world class player like fabregas is available and we are a shoe in to sign him due to our clause, it would be stupidity to miss out on the opportunity on the basis that we need a striker.
Top teams sign top players when they can even if it's not the exact perfect role they need filled now, because it's about the team evolving and improving in general and for the future.
I also totally disagree that signing fabregas means all of a sudden we can't afford a striker. We can go in for both.

You haven't just named four available strikers. And I've already answered you why. Not going to repeat myself. And it's amusing that your purposely not answering any of the points that I actually answer you with.
As for "that bayern striker" (great knowledge of football you've got there), we have been linked a few times with mandzukic and expect he would probably be available for 15-25m. Wouldn't break the bank but he is quite similar to giroud. Would not be against us signing him.
But again us signing a striker has no bearing on the fabregas conversation.
