I played there quite a bit as a boy.

The local Renfrewshire pronunciation is "Borr-heed", its most famous landmark was an Armitage Shanks lavvy factory and it's a bit of a dump.

If they wore red and yellow stripes, that's the "Bee Wye".

The team that we ended up fighting with wore white but there was another team in Red and Yellow stripes. <ok>

It all stopped eventually and the police turned up but soon went away again.

The Junior team in Barrhead (Arthurlie) wear white with red trim.

I can't imagine they'd ever be playing the BY unless it was a charity game or something, though.

Junior football in Scotland is kind of our equivalent of non-league.

The BY play in the J&D or the P&D league which is pretty much boy's football.
