Lots of reports claiming we have made a £18 Million bid for Greizmann.

Would be a good signing. The guy certainly has World Class ability.

Would be a fantastic signing but nothing is reliable until it's on arse.com. We're also rumoured to be in for Sanchez so we seem to be in the market for AM's and forwards.

Lot of talk that Ashley Williams is on his way to you lot. Photograph taken of him at the Emirates, and contract talks with us have stalled.

Schwarzer (Chelsea), Hilario (Chelsea), Costel Pantilimon (Manchester City), Julian Speroni (Crystal Palace), Keiren Westwood (Sunderland) are all out of contract this summer. Any solution to the GK problem there?

Williams for £3m seems a no brainer if accurate. Losing Sagna means we've lost someone who Wenger saw as CB cover and I think in his eyes it was Mert > Kos > Vermaelen > Sagna. I'd be upset were I a Swansea fan but if my captain wanted to leave I'd get rid. Few things unsettle a team as much as a disgruntled leader. I don't think he's the best player in the world but he's consistent, strong and experienced in the league. Personally I think he'd add real depth to the side.

A Vela for £4m, a Williams for £3m means two positions comfortably filled leaving good monies to go for that elusive striker.

Cue Remy for £10...

Remy would be a bargain at £10 <whistle>

Anyone think there might be someone coming in before the World Cup, or is it going to be a long summer?

I'm not sure anyone can get signed before the World Cup, all players (whose country qualified for the WC) will be with their National sides by now and no manager will allow any distractions in their preparations.
Ignore the Luiz deal, that was just a ridiculous sum of money by a desperate and arrogantly run team that bears no resemblance to reality, somewhat ironic that Chelsea were the selling club....

I think the selling of Luiz had something to do with Chelsea being desperate to keep within the rules of FFP.They've had to realise they can't keep on dipping into Roman's pockets anymore.
