Consistently scored 20 goals a season?

Last season was the first time he's ever scored 20 goals in a season and last time he was in the Premier League he was next to useless. I wouldn't take Nugent if he came on a free, didn't want any wages and offered to clean my windows on a weekend.

I cant see any possible reason for us being in for Ameobi. The Dawson, Rose and Livermore deal would be perfect though!

    McGregor
    Rosie Davies Dawson Rose
    Elmo Thudd Livermore Brady
    Jelly Long

Unless we were to play for games using a back 3 though it would be a terrible shame for Chester.

Even if those three signings did come off, I would still hope\expect to see another 2/3 - CM, RM and possibly LM (we've hardly had any creative play down the left flank all season)

I would put Chester at left back over Rosie in that line-up.

I dont recall us really ever playing Chester as a full back unless out of necessity and I would go so far as saying Rosie has been our best full back towards the end of this season. If we do bring Dawson in though, I'm concerned will will more of this 352 bollocks.

Nugent story is a load of crap

He has already been offered a 3 year deal. Like Kasper he has agreed a contract but hasnt put pen to paper yet. Kasper will when he returns from international duty and Nuge im guessing when he is back from holiday

I have always felt Chester could play a defensive mid-fielder protecting the back four, the same as Bruce has done on the odd occasion.

To be fair I place my trust in you, apologies! I'd personally take him, think he could score some important goals when we need them. Just my opinion!

I would agree to a certain extent

IMO he is a top championship striker but so far hasnt looked like making the cut for the prem. His role in the team has changed over the last 12 months with him playing deeper and Vardy doing all the running up front. In this role Nuge has done very well. He ended the season with 22 goals and 14 assists. Albeit 10 of his goals was penalties

I would keep him as he can still have an important role for us but hes not worth the gamble to other clubs due to his age

Thank **** for that. Can you get him to sign tomorrow? Is his 3 year deal as a car park attendant? Let's be honest, he isn't a Premier League striker!

Agree on what’s been mainly said about Nugent, I wouldn’t trade him for any of our current forwards.

LCFC seem to be handing out some big contracts.

Have to say that a three year deal at his age/ability on Prem wages sounds like a daft move from Pearson.

Daily Mail just linked us to Cedric Loe, big 6ft 4in defensive midfielder.

HDM say Bruce is monitoring free agent Jack Colback, he would be a good signing but we would face competition from several clubs such as Newcastle, Swansea, Sunderland etc...

HDM also say we are about to enter talks with Spurs over Jake Livermore. We value him at around £4-£5m whilst Spurs want £8m, how much is too much? Personally although i rate him highly I wouldn't pay over £5m

Sounds like discussions over Livermore will be a long process then, Levy certainly drives a hard bargain.

I think Livermore's class as we need to get him signed up. £8m is clearly mental. I'd go to £6m, think he's worth that.
