Let us hope that we get pipped at the post - if true that is.

He just said that when he lived up there, all people care about is Newcastle united. They live in this ridiculous bubble and almost all Geordies are obsessed. It was only when he moved away to hull and had a family that he gave his season pass up (6 years ago). He now goes up every now and again and can't believe how obsessed they all are. He said that the players socialise a lot in the city and Taylor has been a party boy for a number of years.

Having worked up in Newcastle a few years ago i can agree with you. Football = Life in Geordie land for sure.

The late Jackie Milburn - Malcolm(Supermac) MacDonald - Gazza - Alan Shearer are treated as Gods amongst men.

We already have someone like Shane Long in Jamie Vardy. Non stop running getting behind the defenders and being and utter pain in the arse at every opportunity for the opposition defenders

We'll see, Long has played in the PL a while - Vardy hasn't. If there's one thing this league doesn't allow for, it's passengers and adjusting to your new surroundings.

2 years ago Vardy was in the conference. Even 12 months ago he was contemplating retiring. Now he is a prem football

Long has been a premier League international striker for 3 years now.

Shows the difference but im sure both strikers will both be successful next season. Defenders dont like their style of play one bit

Albrighton is a good larker, Campbell at £1m is good business(even if he is a ****er), there's only the Upson deal that's fairly underwhelming.

So you're honestly telling me you wouldn't have someone who consistently scored 20+ goals a season for the past few years and someone who always scores against us? I'd snap him up, would be excellent competition for Long, Jelavic and Fryatt!

Also surprise surprise... DJ Campbell transfer listed by Blackburn. Prick.
