It does indeed look like a very bad crop. If it is someone behind, say his wife, wouldn't there be a reflection on the sign on the left, and the image is very dark if it's meant to be a neck/face etc behind. I don't know what to believe, I can't take much more of this.
That's not the press entrance (according to Peach) or the player/staff entrance at White Hart Lane (according to Michael Bridge).
Wouldnt these sort of talks happen in a more private place than the Spuds training ground? Remember the J Rod photo from a Hampshire hotel? These things are done away from the ground/training complex. Unless it is a done deal and he is being shown arou d.

Interesting that Fran is getting pissed off with MP. I understand that, but I'm personally more pissed off with the board and their utter silence, having blustered on about openness and transparency. At the very least, issue something that says "we are still in negotiations with Mauricio", or grow a backbone and say, "well if you're not willing to commit to the club and sign the improved contract, then piss off".

I'm not angry at the board because I think they would love to make a positive announcement...no reason for them to be quiet. I just think Mauricio is keeping everyone hanging around in case something good comes along...otherwise he will just see that ruddy year out. It is disrespectful. The board should ask him to confirm that he will at least see the next season out...otherwise he can forget any move, because they will just say no. Call his bluff, then move on according to his decision. We have a big summer of planning ahead.

Thanks Joe. My wife's cousin's step son (tenuous I know) spent a season or two at Hertha from the US. It was about 5/6 years back. Played a few first team games, but didn't make it and went back to the states. He actually had some racism issues in Germany
But that's what I mean Fran, they need to grow a pair really if MP is really mucking us around. Don't get me wrong, I have seriously uncomfortable amounts of man-love for MP and would hate to see him go, but as has been said, there are other good managers, and perhaps more committed ones.

the bottom bit looks like the bottom of the jacket of the fella on the left. the dark bit could well be another section of carpet.
the ghost at the front right is a bit odd though. looks more like a photo through a window than from a security camera.
