Rio and Vidic played in a much more attacking side, they didn't have Makalele and others parked infront of them playing for a 1 or 2-0 win. We wouldn't have been able to play so expansive if we'd had Terry and Carvalho as they'd be to slow and would get exposed all the time. Terry and Carvalho where great in a side that parks the bus, but they wouldn't have lasted 5 mins in an attacking side

Not really as they never set the record for fewest goals conceded that year. The year they set the record was when Jose was there like 4 years earlier

No you guys are the ones moving the goal posts as your using stats from 4 years later, to prove they didn't play in a defensive side. When they broke the record your whole team was parking the bus, as you've always done under Mourinho.
Ofcourse it makes them better defenders, as when you play in an attacking side, the defence gets a lot less cover. In a Mourinho side it's a lot easier being a defender, as you've got most of the midfield parked infront of you providing cover

We didnt park the bus AT all in the league in Jose's first spell at Chelsea.
