http://www.football365.com/hull-city/9322215/Transfer-news-Clubs-chasing-Reading-s-Garath-McCleary? Think we can do better IMO
He's a very good winger at Championship level and he's scored some cracking goals in the past. I'd take him if he wasn't too expensive, however he still has a year left on his contract, so he might cost a bit. If he's still at Reading in January I'd go for him then.
Not at all, but as that's stats from Greece & CL, according to Arse fans, he was playing as a striker. That's what everyone was saying when they were ****ing over that goal he scored against Man Utd, which is what most of the Arse fans & a lot of other people within the game were basing their opinions on about him. I was just pointing out his stats. I'm so glad we never went for that **** Bardsley, he is one of the biggest twats I've ever had the misfortune to meet. He gets all his little mates to hang around with him then plays the big man with his money. Finally the Ter Stegen comment, was it sarcasm about the price being a lot?
Fonte from saints anyone? Mirror says we are after the Portuguese centre half. If all the rumours are true, shaw, lovren, llana mean they will have no team left!
No, it wasn't sarcasm. He's a class keeper, but £9.7m seems like a lot. That said, Sunderland paid £8m for Craig Gordon at one point, so I suppose it's not unheard of.
Not really, as you say about Gordon, there are a lot more expensive than him too. http://www.therichest.com/sports/soccer-sports/10-highest-goalkeeper-transfer-fees-of-all-time/
Ter Stegen is one of the best young keepers in the world going to be first choice at one of the biggest clubs in the world, I'd say that price is cheap if anything
here's the Fonte story, is it the Mirror who are usually pretty accurate with our transfer rumours? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/hull-target-transfer-southamptons-jose-3591548?
The same article mentions we are after Speroni. I thought we announced we are keeping our four current keepers and not signing anyone?
Someone from the Soton board came on here a while back, and said if they believed all the rumours they would have no team and no manager for next season! The price of success
Stoke are signing Senegal striker Mame Biram Diouf from Hannover. I think that the second signing they've made with no fee.
