my first post, a great game last Saturday, shame it didn't go our way but the lads gave it there all, here's to next season and the new recruits<ok>

Carmine ffs, you don't know if he uses Brut, or Old Spice or if he's one of those metrosexuals. You could be putting yourself at huge risk in being inducted into an alternative lifestyle which includes scents by Beckham, ponytails, eyebrow shaping and waxing.

He might make going to these a regular jaunt.

He might force you along. Happy's right, be careful.

Sounds like a fairy tale. You'll be saying there's cars big as bars next.

I've heard a rumour that we have American supporters in the bronx that feel drawn to our team and city because of the history, underdog nature, WW2 exploits etc...

Would you happen to know if there's any truth to this?

The last time we were in the Premier League, one of the TV networks did a big Premier League push and different areas of New York were allocated different teams, we got Harlem...

That's quite clever. I wonder if we've kept any fans over there as a result. Could be the OP?

Not sure if I was informed or remembered it wrong but I'm sure I heard somewhere you could see Americans wearing city strips around the Bronx... could be both, or it could have been Harlem all along.

Welcome to the forum, yankee. Dallas-area fan here, though still a relative newbie to this site. I don't get a lot of the English idioms or Yorkshire colloquialisms, but it is probably good that I don't. ;-) But you'll find the "fan's eye view" of this place informative, and not something you'll find on media or club-based websites.

Some posts have been pruned to the "shark bait" thread so you can talk in peace.

Welcome, I'm in Cali but I am really a Virginian. Anyway this is probably the best place to get info on the club, post often sir.

At your age? I assumed you were married and had kids.

Yeah, good site this, few factions, but we all exist alongside each other, sometimes even happily. Much better than the other sites, also tend to find out stuff quicker here. You just need a thick skin sometimes, and if in doubt about the context of owt, just ask.

So, we need some background on you HINY. Fess up dawg. Yo.
