From Clapham Junction you can get the Overground which goes to Wembley Central via Willesdon Junction (may have to change at Willesdon) which may be the best bet. Overground every 15 minutes. I may well do that myself if theres no tube as my train north goes through Clapham J.

Looks like we would have to change at Willesden Junction to pick up the Bakerloo line, which may be affected by any strike.....but it is an alternative and there must be buses from Willesden to Wembley, or we just join in the walk.....

Thats right. Those travelling into Heathrow probably will have a more difficult journey. Maybe have to use the buses.

May be a little early to discuss this but could be lots more joining the walk than people think

Anyone got inside info or latest on tube strike plans for the whole weekend?

plenty of ways to move about but could cause mayhem.

Sussex.....just looking on TFL website and we can catch the London Overground from Willesden Junction towards Watford Junction which stops at Wembley Central......

By bus from Willesden Junction/Furness Road Bus 18 to Wembley Central takes roughly 30 mins.......

Yes, thats right. From Willesdon Junction its either continue with the Overground or bus. Personally Id use the Overground if you have a choice, avoids the traffic.

Check out the sticky at the top re travel, meet ups etc.....most updates will be poted there......

Whatever happens I think those travelling from the south will be fine as there are alternatives that avoid the underground.....those travelling from the east or west may have a few more problems......just might have to give Hennessy's a miss which would be a shame......

What about the north? Stansted? I presume the Stansted Express is not affected. If not, I will get into Liverpool Street. Will have to research how I would get from there to Kingsbury.

What I reckon for you mate, is to get to Marylebone station and take the Chiltern Line to Wembley Station. From there it will be a 2.5 mile walk to Kingsbury or you should be able to get a cab easy.

I'm planning to do the same from the other way (Denham) and collect my motor on Sunday.

Any other suggestions ??

Train gets into Wem central at 12.07 so be there shortly afterwards.
Thanks for everything and looking forward to meeting so many Not606'ers

If there's definitely a strike (lefty bastards!!) I'll be driving (early) direct to Kingsbury and then getting the bus after the pub meet up to Wembley.
Otherwise, I'm getting the tube from a station out on the A40.

Col......Try Denham. Free parking in the village, or parking at the station. Takes 7 mins to Wembley Stadium on fast train, about 17 on slow one, then a taxi, bus or walk to Kingsbury.

It's planned from midnight on Saturday, so will only affect the late night victory celebrations.

It's also the other union Unite not the usual RMT.

Read it again mate. I think it meant one minute past midnight on Saturday MORNING?
Can anyone confirm?
