Could believe my eyes when I saw a dozen to twenty or so HC supporters leave the stadium at the end. After the players gave their all I would of thought the supporters who left would of applauded and thanked them for their efforts. We never stayed to witness Arsenal lift the trophy but so a good number of Arsenal outside the ground who didnt stay to witness them lift the cup either ! , am I missing something ?

I waited 5-10 minutes, I couldn't bare to watch the trophy presentation and it all became a bit much. Although I did see people fly off to the exits just at the final whistle

Did you miss the players collecting their medals?

You also missed Steve Bruce run down to us and slide down the pitch on his knees, before giving us an applause, when the players were all leaving down the tunnel.

They paid their money, in some cases quite a lot probably, and they can really do what they want. Many with a defeat after being 2-0 up probably don't want to stick around that long.

I saw us collecting our medals then I left

at the final whistle, I went down to the front row and just clapped, felt incredibly proud, I couldnt see much though there was about 300 cameraman on the pitch, stayed for about 10 minutes, kept winding a steward up by saying we're going on the pitch

I did see a small fisticuffs in our stand though, not sure if it was a gooner **** and a city fan or two city fans but the stewards came and chucked em out

We stayed for 10mins after the whistle and applauded solidly as the players were on the pitch and coming over but had to be at StP for 8.50 and didn't want to take any chances.

The vast majority of City fans stayed whilst the presentation was going on, but that was only to cheer our lads. What surprised me was how many Arsenal fans left before the presentation started.

My son and I were amongst those very quickly at the end. He wasn't feeling well, and I wanted to get him away before the big crowds hit Wembley Park Station with all the queuing and the trains getting too packed. On this occasion his well being came first. I hope you understand and have your forgiveness.

Plastics maybe with trains to catch.? Who cares. I stayed for it all and just enjoyed the whole occasion.

We did very very well.

Plastics with trains to catch ? You mean if people needed to leave, in order to catch their train, therefore not be stranded in London, with no money, no options at all ? They're plastics ? Think you thick **** <ok>

you don't need to explain yourself to anyone

It looked to me like quite a few Arsenal fans had left before the presentations.

As a matter of interest, would your son not feeling well have necessitated you dashing away quickly if we had won?

I get a bit pissed off with the "I'm better than you, because..." email threads on here sometime so felt the need to justify myself. Probably didn't need to.

haven't lived in You Ess A for a few years now but never got around to changing the name. Currently based in Cambridge but not sure for how long. Company is on at me about either going back stateside, or China for a year or two.
