Bob is correct of course ..... the Twitter gang threw 14 grand at it last week and got nowhere near! But they didn't have the not606 knowledge Well, we still have the best part of around 18 hours to see if the fund increases significantly .. on the original thread I think there were quite a few others saying they wanted in - Danbo was one, so maybe they haven't been keeping up with events. I would suggest that by say, 6pm tomorrow, we decide what to do dependent on the final fund count EDIT: Is that a virtual 100 Ron? You weren't counted in the running total so far .................
Done Wooly. And if we are still lacking a selection we could always fall back on Pricewise and Hugh Taylor. If it's a 5 horse race I'll pick 4. Job done
Absolutely. Someone was saying saturdays racing this week isnt as competitive/big fields as previous? So we may find that in fact we only need 2 selections in a race?
It's highly likely that the jackpot will go this week. It's also highly likely that there will be quite a few winners of it. Let's hope that if we are in it, we win it Selection is going to be interesting, being that we ALL have our own opinions around any given race, and any one of us is capable of finding the unexpected winner on occasion. And an unexpected one is what keeps the number of winning tickets down!
I willdo the same as ron but not seeing the races and being limited on options stake wise makes it even less likely
I hate to have to say this but, there's always one isn't there. So I'll say it. There is obviously a very high chance that the bet, if it goes ahead, will lose. The selection Team have kindly volunteered to determine which horses make up the bet. This is because it would be totally impractical to do it any other way. Somebody will no doubt pick a different horse which may well win. Some twat may come on here and start spouting off about our attempt. Any derogatory comments will not be tolerated.
What you talking about Ron " A high chance that the bet, if it goes ahead, will lose" stop being so ****ing negative, WE ARE GOING TO WIN (I hope )
So if there are (say) 500 wwinners and we are one of them, that makes £150k which (I think) would be about £575 for a £25 share. Not very attractive.
I'll also be getting involved elsewhere for a chunk, but put me in for £50 here (as a mental hedge against you winning and me not being involved, as that would be awful).
