Confirmed - Pardew will be the manager next season

Horribly frustrating news but we all knew this would happen. Pardew is the luckiest manager in football and is literally unsackable save maybe if we start next season like we finished the last one. Next season is going be pure colostomy bag.

More ****ty football, more ****ty tactics, two more defeats off the mackems. He's untouchable. It just proves that he could get us relegated and he would stay on.

I think Newcastle fans have got it all wrong. Pardew is not the problem, you guys where going along nicely before the board decided to sell your best player and not replace him. I think you should be venting all your frustrations at Mike Ashley, rather than Pardew. You have barely spent a penny for 18 months, and you sell your best players, and your all having a go at the manager for finishing 10th.

I think Pardews actually done a pretty decent job, considering what he's had to contend with. You are not going to get any further up the PL pecking order unless your board stops running the club to make money, and starts running it as more of a hobby, and buys some quality players, and stops selling your best ones

Listen the bloke is a **** manager, a chancer who is basically unsackable. He is a spineless wretch and damn near most newcastle fans want the **** gone.

Well in fairness a lot of us have already expressed exactly the same sentiment. I don't want him here purely for his unprofessional behaviour. He should have gone for gross misconduct.

We drastically need investment, and substantial investment. Pardew's been saved most people's ire because of the circumstances. I hope that excuse is removed this summer.

I think you have got it all wrong. The grass isn't always greener on the other side, as you Geordies should know when you've sacked managers like Big Sam, only for you to get even worse once he left. 10th isn't a bad spot in the table considering the resources being made available. Who would you have wanted if you did make a change?

Several signings in the summer and the same crap is on display then those Pardew sympathizers will quickly disappear.

Sorry but this is a classic opinion of someone outside of NUFC who doesn't watch the games regularly, or have any idea about the club.

I agree that he works under difficult circumstances at times but you need to consider a few points before singing his praise:

-Our record of coming from behind to win games is non existent under Pardew - He lacks the skills to motivate our team
-Our record in Derby games is awful under Pardew - he lacks the skills to motivate the team in big games
-We NEVER score from corners
-Most consecutive league defeats in decades
-Most consecutive home defeats in decades
-His touchline behavior at times has been an embarrassment to the club (although at time blown out of proportion)
-Our team is capable of falling apart against ANY team in the league - more proof he lacks both technical knowledge and motivational skills.

I could go on here but the above are the reason I feel we had such a poor second half to our season. Cabaye was a big miss but one player doesn't make a team

Its not really news is it, so why do SSN need to put it up as breaking news.

That's straight out of the tabloids and miles away from where we're at. The main issues with our manager is that he's essentially the mouthpiece for the Ashley regime and won't stand up for either us or himself when he constantly has the rug pulled from underneath him. He also can't get the best from some of our better players, but that's just a pub whinge.

Have you actually seen us play regularly this season? We have been mostly f**king awful. Pardew is tactically inept and fails to get the best out of his players. His constant array of excuses along with his nonsensical ramblings after matches is the reason supporters want the complete embarassment gone but guess what - he will never resign because he knows he will never get a better job than this.

I don't know who you support but you have no idea what is going on with our club or if you do, you are being deliberately obtuse.

Fair enough guys, it just seems a little harsh on Pardew as an outsider looking in. Though admittedly I don't watch that many of your games, apart from the highlights on a Saturday night

Thats the first part of the previous story true then, now he gets £60m to spend :emoticon-0112-wonde

Imagine how many championship players he could sign with that
