Agreed. Whilst HIAG (rightly so) was never aggressive etc, he knew how to prod certain boards/posters into reactions which tended to derail threads.

Probably a case of a little less wumming from some and a little less aggression towards rival fans and it'd be a good balance.

Have to say I agree.
Whatever I may think about other teams in real life, most of their forums on here have some decent posters and I get along with most.
However, it is ironic that I actually have nothing against Arsenal in RL (except Wenger who is a toss pot) yet on Not606, they by far have the biggest percentage of ****tards, completely smashing both us and Liverpool in terms of Douchebags.

I can kind of see your point - he is a bit of a one trick pony. I wish he would open up a bit more on his real opinions rather than the constant "fishing". But being tedious is a very subjective thing. Others may find him hilarious, I know many do. On dangerous ground banning people because they are boring. Be quite a cull through the Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal boards if that's the standard. And I mention those 3 because they are the ones I visit.

Exactly. It's not as if he's a stupid person either, he is very articulate so why not use it to voice real opinions instead of goading?
The only people I see laughing with HIAG are Spurs fans. If we had a similar type of wum I doubt they'd find it funny at all and they'd definitely be banned from the boards you just mentioned.

As already mentioned, the Arsenal board would be a ghost town.
As far as HIAG goes, I never really found him insulting, and was against a ban. But I have to agree he did get very irritating.....just had such a small repertoire of WUMness and it got a little repetitive. Two of our posters on here in particular were humurously enraged by him (you know who you are).

Entirely true SD, to date I am banned from two boards Man Utd & Liverpool. As stated I have never posted on their board and the United board I was guilty of posting a picture of Moyes with he caption of 'I don't f**king know what Iam doing' Nothing much wrong there as it was a fun thing and everybody was posting them. Swarbs is known for being anal and hates being proved wrong and I think that ban was a personal thing as he always acts on his own.

Yes I do use profanities where needed especially to those who come on here for a cheap dig or to do a 'Hiag' maybe if they were just here for the banter that's all they would get back..banter. Their choice <ok>

HIAG was a nightmare to moderate, he never, ever believed that you were trying, even though he was very trying.

To be fair to him, he did ride the wave that was started by that idiot spurs poster who got banned from the site by his own mods...the one who posted a picture of his own bollocks? Ensil?

Now he was a proper toolbag, Syd deleted his whole account one day and I pointed out that there was no reason to at all and got it reactivated. What happened? Yep...I got Ensilled.

HIAG was a bit of a Tit though, he liked to try and wum but it always came back to bite him on the arse. When he got it back both barrels he went off crying to the mods complaining about being bullied. Classic case of dishing it out but couldn't take it back.

Ensil was just a ****ing mental case, obsessed with grammar and his own nads
 
They are sensitive.

I got banned for arguing correctly That Chelsea would not be finished under FFP.

And then arguing that Arsene would be more rattled by the specialist in failure spat than Jose.

Arsenal melted in feb and March as usual and bottled all the big games
