I could see why Ossie would have been banned if he had posted on there. He does get pretty venomous (sorry mate but you do). But to ban him from a forum he has never been on to pre empt him being nasty is pretty . hilarious!

how is that even remotely similar? Whatever opinion you have on a poster, you can't seriously agree with them getting banned from a board they have never been on? HIAG was, is and always will be a knob. His sole purpose when venturing onto this board (and the others he is banned from) was to wum. That is completely deserving of a ban, especially when he was warned on countless occasions.
My post has nothing to do with being banned without visiting (which for the record I would find incredible if true). I was only pointing out that it was a bit rich for him to say people shouldn't try to get people banned when he'd done the same thing with HIAG . Whatever your opinion of HIAG (which I find utterly bizarre by the way, the guy is harmless), he did nothing to get banned (that I saw) after he was given a second chance. It was only Robby and Ossie going on and on about banning him that it happened. Or that's how it looked to me.
He was a wum and was told to tone it down but continued to do so. He is a knob because of the way he wums, it's supposed to be humourous but it's the complete opposite. You're right, he is harmless. He doesn't abuse anyone and usually keeps it clean, but he's an unbelievably tedious man, much like Ensil was. He's banned from about 5 boards, which is very telling.
Whilst I was against a HIAG ban, he did manage to get the backs up of a fair few of the regulars so he was always at the mercy of a ban. Difficult one for the MODS IMO as they do need to keep the locals 'on side' whilst maintaining a interesting board as well. Probably a case of a little less wumming from some and a little less aggression towards rival fans and it'd be a good balance.
