Yeah, I'm sure we'll tell them where they can shove that. Is it time for a big summer transfer rumours thread then?
I hope so too but I think the GD will go against him, I don't think clubs will have the good sense to see the whole defence picture.
Think that's mostly due to our defenders letting him down more than anything, he pulled off some great saves yesterday.
Ruddy is a believe the one player who has specifically stated that after a relegation he wouldn't force his way out
That's that then: http://talksport.com/football/exclu...ing-summer-exit-relegated-norwich-14051290873 We'll get what we want for Ruddy and he won't be forcing out. Top man.
Didn't Palace pay a fair whack for wayne hennessey in january? + speroni, not sure goalkeeper is their priority at the moment unless it was a bargain.... Would be disappointed to see him go for less than £8m
I do wonder whether, as Ruddy is probably our most valuable asset and given our depth in that position with Rudd looking to come in, we might sell Ruddy if good money is offered and use that money as part of our transfer budget.
Surprised so many are desperate to keep him after such a average year. Rudd is ready to be our number one, and if we got offered 7-8m I'd happily take it.
Ruddy not looking to go, but will discuss offers the club receive with the club. http://talksport.com/football/exclusive-ruddy-insists-he-not-eying-summer-exit-relegated-norwich-14051290873?
Bath's logic is one I've expressed before and can definitely see the point in, but there's also the argument that keeping a 'keeper as good as Ruddy could be very useful. Marshall is perhaps the only 'keeper in the league who could rival him for quality, and he's more likely to move on. Should we get promoted again, having Ruddy means we're definitely not going to need a new 'keeper right away, and the understanding between a 'keeper and defence is important in any league. Rudd, or even Bunn could do a job in the league, but Ruddy could earn us several points over an average championship keeper. If wages permit, I'd rather we kept Ruddy and Bunn, two senior keepers should be sufficient, with Nash only kept if his contribution to the coaching side of things is significant. I'd like to see Rudd loaned out again so he can continue to develop. Ideally that would be to Preston in the championship as he's settled there, but if they don't make it through the play-offs then perhaps a loan to a club at the bottom of the championship would be more beneficial.
would like ruddy to stay but if someone offers 6 or 7 million let him go, think its time to play Rudd had a great season at preston
Ruddy as back up for Speroni???? I'm sure JR is going to go to a club such as Palar53 to be a deputy!!!!
