Read in the Mirror this morning that Clint Hill is sweating on a possible violent conduct charge for his elbow incident last night. The ref missed it but it was shown in replay on Sky. If the FA decide to charge him he'll miss Monday's match...

Anyone got a video?
Also, missed it at the time but one of their players got booked for something off the ball which had Hoilett clutching his face like a pansy. Wasn't sure how it could have ended in a yellow.

Neither of them were yellows. Hill just pushed yer man a bit and he went down like he was shot. Hoilett ran straight into their player and caught one in the mush which wasn't their player's fault at all.
The usual non-issues which in modern day Soccer are hyped up out of nothing.
They could still ban him for the final if we get there, we could appeal against if they ban him for Monday, that would free him up but add an extra game to it when it fails.I would be very surprised if the FA could hold a disciplinary meeting before monday.
I think he may get away with it but it was a very stupid thing to do.
Watch it again. Clint levels him with an elbow............very silly!
Cauldwell visibly steps across Hoilett as he makes his run. Wigan were very cynical.
Being cynical myself...what I am guinuinly worried about...is ref retribution on Monday.
We missed the event on Friday, but will get you tonight....Clint really needs to be far whiter than white..
There will be lots of falling over in front of him...if tackles 1% over the edge he will get a straight red card
But Harry cannot afford to drop the captain, who is the life blood of the club....tricky

Is it the same ref for the 2nd leg?...
Bloody drama queens on here.
