Read in the Mirror this morning that Clint Hill is sweating on a possible violent conduct charge for his elbow incident last night. The ref missed it but it was shown in replay on Sky. If the FA decide to charge him he'll miss Monday's match...

Anyone got a video?

Also, missed it at the time but one of their players got booked for something off the ball which had Hoilett clutching his face like a pansy. Wasn't sure how it could have ended in a yellow.

And the final if we get there. Plus the first game next season.

Clint was very silly and can't complain if he's banned.
Caldwell synically stepped across hoillet as he made a run and was rightly booked.

Neither of them were yellows. Hill just pushed yer man a bit and he went down like he was shot. Hoilett ran straight into their player and caught one in the mush which wasn't their player's fault at all.

The usual non-issues which in modern day Soccer are hyped up out of nothing.

I would be very surprised if the FA could hold a disciplinary meeting before monday.

I think he may get away with it but it was a very stupid thing to do.

Watch it again. Clint levels him with an elbow............very silly!
Cauldwell visibly steps across Hoilett as he makes his run. Wigan were very cynical.

They could still ban him for the final if we get there, we could appeal against if they ban him for Monday, that would free him up but add an extra game to it when it fails.

It was a red car, the ball wasn't even there, he just put a forearm smash into the back of the blokes head, he was lucky not to get a yellow for kicking the bloke during a thrown in, it wasn't a own despite what that northern twat said as the ball wasn't in play.

All in all, he was very lucky to get through that game and will be even luckier not to be banned and that means Dunne playing every minute, on the plus side, it means Yun playing.

Being cynical myself...what I am guinuinly worried about...is ref retribution on Monday.
We missed the event on Friday, but will get you tonight....Clint really needs to be far whiter than white..

There will be lots of falling over in front of him...if tackles 1% over the edge he will get a straight red card

But Harry cannot afford to drop the captain, who is the life blood of the club....tricky

They will try to cheat anyway, they always do but we were clever and never gave them a chance to go over close to goal.

So I think that's already in our minds, they aren't going to dangle a leg and then pull it away and let them dive over thin air. Well Dunne might.

If he's punished then it's not without merit. If it costs the club in the play-offs - after all, he is our captain - then we have every right to be quite cross with him.

I had the most perfect view of said incident Swords. Myself and all around us groaned in anticipation of a red card and penalty. I live Clint to bits but that was nasty IMO

Would someone have done something by now if it was going to happen?
Wigan or Ref made a complaint, there does not seem to be anything yet

Still think they (the ref/FA) will try to get retribution through booking/sending Hill off on Monday....cynical old me!
