I can see why people dislike nouveau Chelsea: jealousy mainly.
But you have to appreciate why lachyrmose Liverpool are disliked so much. You are a naff club, swathed in sentiment.
Chelsea may be a vile club in many people's eyes (I'm not saying yours) but Liverpool are the naffest and most cliched, from their karaoke YNWA, to their legions of plastic fans and their self-importance.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Id always stick up for anyone who i see as needing my help and for that reason YNWA is a real anthem to me. When I hear it it doesnt just signify Liverpool FC it signifies a way of life and the feeling involved in the song causes electricity to surge.
All clubs have bad eggs, all clubs have dark moments, its about how you move forward from those moments and deal with the nasty elements.
At the end of the day Its sport and as long as battles and rivalry occur on the pitch and verbally on the stands and forums then the world is a better place.
Most of you Chelsea fans do my head in, but I hope you all have a great summer and return here safely for the battles to start again in August.
