Hope he's signed by a good Brazilian team. He could do really well in that league.

I'll say. OK, so his application and concentration wasn't of the highest order, but he was right up there technically. A Brazilian player from the old school. I'll never forget his contribution, as he is also one of that special tribe of League One players who brought this club back to where it belongs.

I'm still waiting for your congratulations, TSS.

Found this on Saintsweb. Watch it and enjoy what Guly has done for us. He may not have been so involved in the EPL, but certainly doesn't warrant the criticism of the vocal few. Thanks, Guly...and we will miss you.

Great thread Fran. That goal against Blackpool in the Cup was a thing of true beauty, and he scored some other crackers for us. He really will be missed, and I hope he finds a good club back home in Brazil.

If Guly wants to properly return home to Campinas, the closest Serie A clubs to him would be Corinthians, Sao Paulo and Palmeiras.

Didn't even refer to your notes...just applied logic using my cut and paste success. I think I should stop while I'm ahead or I will grow beyond the capability of modern technology.

And that really is all transferring data is. Just Cut/Copy & Pasting in one form or another. You keep on pushing those boundaries. There's plenty of scope left in the technology.

Whenever I'm ready to criticise Guly Do Prado, I always stop short because he is a mercurial player, with shortcomings in the English game, but with fantastic skill. And boy, can't he finish..!

One of our best signings really. He was signed in League One and was very good in that division. Then he was good in the Championship and decent backup in the Premier League. You can't ask for much more really. Thanks for the good times Guly!

A strike force of Lambert, Adam, Guly and Chamberlain in L1, not too shabby. Watching the video has made me miss the quick counter attacks of old

Thanks Guly for your very good contribution when in league 1 and the Championship. Go get the winner against Man United.

Well that's that then. Fran is now linking to articles and posts and pinching my own work.

I think that makes it time for DTLW to retire from the role of forum newshound. Over to you now Fran...! ;)
