Given the state of play, that has to be one hell of a wum post on this particular board.

why is it a wum post , can you not understand that football can be a bridge and not a chasm between people ,only animals should be blinkered imo if they get spooked by others.

It's quite simple really, if your a die hard supporter of your local team, as most of you (and we) are, the last thing that you need when you're staring relegation in the face is some poster from the team who's result may just have relegated you giving it all the "winners and losers" bollocks, and the 'have a good day at safc' ****...

I remember what relegation feels like, to some extent I feel the pain of the proper Budgies, and if I was one of you I would regard that post as a pisstake, but maybe that's just me.<ok>

Weird scenario where a Moderator for a fans forum is connected to two sides but by some freak accident he chose to watch a direct rival pipping the side he confesses to support.
Yes for many people footy is just a game so building bridges and chasing rainbows is all that matters, then there are those that take each defeat with the kind of pain as stubbing your little toe on a coffee table, man that hurts...
For others its just a hobby and running a fans forum is just an unpaid fun job ,doesn`t matter what team it`s all the same thing.:emoticon-0115-inlov

SN23, I now hope that you win your last two matches (unlikely though it may be), and Sunderland get ****ed over in theirs and get relegated instead of you lot.

I look forward to stu coming on this board and giving it the winners and losers **** then. <cheers>

SN23, do you not understand plain English? My trip to Sunderland was arranged at Christmas, Sunderland looked to be dead and gone then and we looked to be safe. Do you not think I'm allowed to have friends from a rival club? If that is the way your mind works than I genuinely pity you!

Also the post from Stu is imo nothing at all like a wum post, ask welly, he's produced enough wum posts on here to be an expert!

The fact that I post on another forum does not affect my total love and dedication to my preferred team of Norwich City!

during my contract days i worked and stayed in felixstowe and used to go and watch ipswich on a regular basis when the dutch men played under robson ,fantastic nights at portman road were had,i joined the club as i did wherever i worked because it made life living in digs a bit more tolerable ,i made many friends at ipswich and many more all around the country who i still visit, this enables me to go to most grounds as a guest ,its called being human welly you should try it some time, perhaps you have never left your little bubble you live in that would explain a lot.

As an aside Dave, if it comes down to the last throw of the dice, and you're at the SOL with your Sunderland pals (meeting up for a meal after and all that...), needing a Swansea win to keep you Budgies up...

Who you gonna be on your feet, singing OTBC, never mind the danger, cheering for?

    bon appetit...:)

My Sunderland friends and I have already discussed this, if push comes to shove we want our own team to be safe, ideally for both of us we'd like WBA to join Cardiff and Fulham! <ok>

    Good post Stu <ok>

I go up to Liverpool quite a bit as my wife is from Merseyside and I go to watch them at Anfield when I can! My first love will always be Ipswich but I have a soft spot for Liverpool and indeed Cambridge United as I lived there for over twenty years. Nothing wrong at all in going elsewhere to watch football and in my eyes Dave is doing nothing wrong and shouldn't have to justify himself!
