This might go against the grain but... I don't want Ross to score 30 goals for us this season, I don't want him to go down in history as one of our great strikers, I don't want him to be up there in the record books because he doesn't deserve to be, I don't think so anyway.
Put it another way Ristac, if our previous greats who scored 30 plus, had played in this team, what would they have scored? I suspect a lot less than Ross. I think you're wrong on him, he may have single handedly almost saved the club. Would Cellino have bought us had we been facing inevitable relegation?
If he does get 30 goals this season that doesn't automatically put him into the "one of our greats" category. We'd want something similar for a few seasons yet to qualify as a great - at least 20 goals a season I think.
He'll go down as one of the greats when he repeats that in a Premier League season, performs at or around that level consistently for several years and helps the club to win trophies.
As it is, scoring 30 this season he will go down as an excellent player who stood up to the plate when the club sorely needed him. And we should be grateful for that.
Can you tell Mr Cellino to ignore Gary Cooper and LUST. The majority of supporters are not LUST members for a reason. Even though it's free to join.
Perhaps you should tell him to stop selling Bovril too, because most fans don't partake for a reason!
