To be honest I feel I have become more of an armchair forum user, rather than a 'proper' user like the rest of you. I feel ashamed at my plasticness, and so have decided to start supporting Chelsea, as I'll fit in better there.

Appreciate the compliment Gerrez, but then you should know from my posts this isn't an anti-liverpool gripe. As I said in my response to Sisu, if that had been a high profile game between Arsenal and Chelsea, I really don't think we'd be hearing about it 5 days later...or talking about it either. Chelsea have gone away from home and not played particularly well, but ground out wins. You must have heard the media in previous seasons call this the "mark of champions". Chelsea, City and United have done this in the past. Don't get me wrong, I abhor that style of football, even when United have played that way. I'm a bit of a purist. But what annoys me is the hypocrisy, that in past seasons, whenever this topic was brought up the majority opinion in the media was that "managers play to their strengths" and "they don't owe anything to anyone but their own club", and a "win is a win". And this wasn't just the likes of Stoke I'm talking about, even when Mancini did it at City. The performance by City against Arsenal (both challenging for the title at the time) at the Emirates a few year ago was far worse than Chelsea's on Sunday but nobody mentioned it the next day, let alone 5 days later. The only reasons I can think it's happening now is a mix of anti-Mourinho hatred (probably deserved tbf) and the media is full of ex-liverpool players. I switch on the TV and it's Rednapp, Souness or Carragher going on about. Switch on the radio and it's Fowler and Micky Quinn. And it's hardly unbiased debate either, all one sided. Where were they when other clubs were doing it?
