Real sat deep and counterattacked V Bayern too, albeit with better players technically and more clinically than Chelsea. Hence they counter quicker faster better and more often. When we get a decent striker and Salah going, hopefully we will counterattack better next season too
With all due respect (since you seem a decent poster), that is complete and utter horse ****! Mourinho and Chelsea get the criticism not because of a one off game against Liverpool but because it's their number one tactic away from home and do it all the time! Doing it in high profile games just highlights it further. Also, when they do it in Europe it doesn't get the attention unless they lose because all parts of the media must be seen in good light; ie no matter what you say, don't go against a English club!

Rodgers bitter reaction compared to being owned compared Jose's classy one last night, fanned the flames over Chelsea's anti-football and LFC fans happily went along with it. It did LFC as a club - from manager down to the fans - no favours: the club lacks class. We lost last night and simply congratulated Athletico. Well played to a very good team. Difference was you guys where totally outplayed by Atletico over the 2 legs, there was no underhand tactics by Atletico. Where as your lot where time waisting from the first minute, at Anfield, and even your manager was refusing to give the ball back. You also had pretty much every man camped in your own half. And as has already been pointed out, when West Ham did a similar job on you, Mourinho was having a pop at there tactics. He also wasn't that Gracious last night, as he was trying to claim that you guys where the better side up until the penalty which really isn't true, it was close but Atletico definitely looked a lot better on the ball, and created the better chances, just as they did in there own stadium
