Seven petrol bombs have been thrown at an Alliance Party office in east Belfast, the police have said.

The attack on the premises on the Upper Newtownards Road happened at about 23:00 BST on Tuesday.

Scorch damage was caused to the building and windows were smashed, but no-one was injured.

The police have recovered CCTV footage of the attack showing at least four people were involved.

The footage, which has been seen by the BBC, shows they were wearing hooded tops and began throwing stones and bricks at windows of the office just before 23:00 BST.

Once they had broken glass in an upstairs window, the attackers began hurling petrol bombs, before running off.

Police are investigating a racist attack in which faeces was thrown at a Romanian man in Belfast.

He was cycling on the Newtownards Road in east Belfast at about 09:15 BST on Wednesday when the attack happened.

A man wearing dark clothing, who is not known to the victim, threw faeces at the cyclist and ran away.

The victim received hospital treatment after the assault and police said they are treating it as a hate crime.

The victim has been described as a busker who sits outside a local shop.

He is well known in the area and this is the second time he's been attacked in the last few months.

This incident happened outside St Patrick's Church of Ireland and was condemned by Reverend John Cunningham.

"I don't think there's any need for violence at any time," he said.

"I think perhaps the effect on the gentleman might be traumatic, may, obviously, disturb the man for some years to come and I think for other people, other immigrants, that's bound to be a problem in the back of their minds, unsettling.

"We have quite a few immigrants in this area."

RANGERS' entire board of directors have been reported to police investigating statements made by chief executive Graham Wallace.

Investment banker Phil Maher made two new allegations to detectives who travelled to London on Wednesday.

He earlier claimed that Wallace misled Rangers fans over the club’s finances. In a three-hour interview, he alleged Wallace has made other misleading statements.

<rofl>

They just keep on coming.

If they persist with this boycott of season tickets then it wont matter. The club/company will be gone soon anyway.
