Good excuse to see this again

Sam puts his case at 3.00 on by taking the wee wee out of Portsmouth.

Went to that, they were absolutely ****e! Some of the Pompey fans got past the security guards and ran over and tried fighting our fans. Absolute scum.

Don't really know the Academy players, but our wingers played quite well. Targett didn't do much, but he didn't have much to do!

Schneiderlin rates him...said he was reportedly better than a young Lambert (presumably Rickie told him that). Morgan did add that he of course didn't know a young Lambert as he wasn't born then<laugh>

A lot of players were better than a young Lambert! He didn't end up in a beetroot factory on the basis of great footballing ability.

So how well did Sam Gallagher do v Swansea? I didn't get to the game with my new job on Saturdays.

Split two defenders and got fouled on the edge of the box. Got free for a header that should have been a goal, but missed if fairly badly. Some good movement overall, but still a work in progress.

Furious that he had wrong ones on at the start? He wasn't the only one that lost his footing, even Lambo found himself on his backside unexpectedly a couple of times.

He was furious that it took him so long to change his boots. Not that anyone helped him by loosening the laces before handing them to him.

Anyway, he looked ok again against Swansea; not setting the world alight but not letting anyone down either.

Well according to the Sunday Times today Sam has "attracted the attention of Chelsea"

If not nonsense, Sam should refuse. Can you see Chelsea giving him the time or help that he needs to improve? They've farmed out more experienced players than him...Chelsea would rather pay a fortune and get one who is ready to go. Don't believe it anyway...more a case of every team looking at 100s of players.

Reporter thinks - Chelsea needs strikers, Southampton has a youngster striker.
Reporter writes - Gallagher attracted the attention of Gallagher.

Laughable really. All premier league teams have dossiers of all other teams players including youth players.
