Ho ho ho. Trust is earned
Do we think Sandro will be at Spurs next season?
And Sandro has built up 4 years of trust with no complaints or suggestion of bad attitude. Sherwood has 5 months of rows and average results.

Sandro's actual tweet said.....
"Good morning Guys, just to let you know that i'm not injured ! Hope that we can win the game today."
I personally don't see that as a challenge to the manager, and if Tim were savvy and secure he'd focus more on the fact that he (Sandro) wants Spurs to win the game and is showing support for the team and love for his fans in expressing this. Done. Finished. No story. Instead the jouro presented Tim with it as if it was a challenge, and Tim swallowed it. He almost didn't, but then he did. Whole.
It's a shame because if he got he whole squad on side, he'd actually have a better chance at another season. At this rate though he'll create too many enemies. It's been the Tim Sherwood show rather than a job of effective management. Sounds too much like AVB, alienating particular players, and Harry before him, giving the media a little too much to talk about whilst not completely delivering on the pitch constantly enough to achieve what was required.
Compare this to the dignity that Martinez shows consistently, and it's clear why Sherwood splits the fans despite the win record.
It wasn't the tweet you have quoted that caused the controversy, Lock Stock.
It was the one he tweeted in reply to Sherwood's comments, which relate to the title of this thread. - sandro's reply on twitter was "LOL LOL LOL LOL", directly after sherwoods comments were made. Everyone knew what the "LOL's" meant and what Sandro was referring to. - just read the comments from the fans.
You are right, but it was the one that Sherwood responded to with his not good enough comments. Certainly it escalated from there, but Lock Stock is right that the original tweet could have been dismissed as harmless. He was probably sick of his timeline being blocked by asking about his fitness. We've wondered enough on here.

There's a platitude for (almost) every occasion, and most professionals learn some of them. Redknapp had the one Sherwood should have used, "Too many players deserve to start, etc., etc." Sherwood seems to take pride in not resorting to platitudes, which will please nonconformists and fans of plain speech but not too many others.

There's no question he's one of the best DMs in the world at his best. The thing is, what amounts to an anti-DM prejudice on Sherwood's part has helped produce a team that's been scoring more than AVB's did, a lot more. Eleven goals in three games is nothing to sneeze at. Of course we've given up more as well, but, as has been pointed out, most of the goals haven't been due to lack of protection for the back four, but from comic gifts. We're leading the league in goals gifted, for the simple reason, IMO, that Naughton is the only one who puts his foot through the ball when he should, for the most part.
I wish Sherwood would stop saying stupid things constantly, but I give him credit for getting the team scoring goals.
Just cos a midfielder can tackle doesn't mean he's only a DM.

If the team won, quite comfortably I might add, then how is this a discussion? I could understand if you guys had lost but this seems like a non-issue, unless of course this is nothing but another excuse to have a go a Sherwood.
Sandro is a great player, but if he's reacting like this on Twitter you gotta wonder why he's creating drama unless he's playing on fans disillusion with Sherwood...

Sherwood's not going to be our manager next season so of course we feel aggrieved that he's freezing one of our best players out. Results are all well and good but we're going to have enough of a job keeping our best players this summer without Sherwood pissing off more of them.
Freezing out? If anything he is just putting out the best team he can to win games. Like I said, if he left him out and you lost fair enough, but he chose the team he thought would win and they did...
If Sandro is good enough, and I think he is, he'll be back into the side again soon enough.
