To an extent he is a yes man, he will have a say in the signings but he won't get a budget and be free to spend it as he wishes. He'll identify a player and then Lawwell will go out and buy Balde or a cheaper guy with the same name.
I agree. Some on here seem to be embarrassed by being associated with our club. I call it the Celtic Cringe.
I'm not embarrassed to be associated to Celtic. However, I am endlessly embarrassed by the section of our support who equate supporting a football team with a myriad of political and religious twaddle and then paint that ignorance as being some form of superfan.

You hate yourself for supporting Celtic because of your Catholic background and it riles you that others are comfortable supporting the team for whatever reason they like... It most likely developed after you were bullied at school :-(
