See after he has been sacked he is 3/1 to go to Newcastle and 6/1 celtic. Could be mistaken but dont we have a manager in place. Any reasons for this? Or is it merely due to the media li king lennon with Norwich and such likes.

I dont think it would ever happen. But if it did it would be Mowbray part 2 imo

No, it's just an easy way for bookies to make money from goons.

TBH I dont watch english football much so Im not really sure, but I get the impression he tends to be over-cautious which wouldnt be tolerated

Same with Lambert RL. His teams play rotten fitba'.

You've only got to visit Celtic Park once or have an Irish granny and half our support are clamouring for them to be our manager, suggesting that half our support are dewey-eyed morons of the highest calibre.

Games were exciting when he was Norwich boss, often high scoring affairs ending 4-3 and the likes. He should never have gone to Villa.

Aye but they were coming off of back-to-back promotions & making the EPL for the first time in a while.

I'd be loathe to have him as Celtic manager, watching the CL games is bad enough with Lennon in charge. 10 men behind the ball and Sammy standing up-top looking lonely. With Lambert in charge Sammy would be defending as well and we'd be aiming for six 0-0 draws.

Yep - Howard Webb is quoted at 500/1 to be united's new manager FFS. You just know some cretin will back him <doh>

FFS, my mate put money on West Ham to win the league the season they went down in 20th because they were 250/1. Would have been better buying 5 scratchcards.

If Lennon leaves for Norwich and Moyes is still without a club he will be offered the Celtic job.

It's almost as though having an affinity for Celtic should automatically disqualify you from being in the running for a job at Celtic...for some self loathing tims anyway...

Moyes would be a fantastic manager for us. Not that I can see it ever happening.

Moyes wouldn't get near the Celtic job.

Celtic would want someone to come in and work with the current strategy and people, Moyes would want full control of the transfer policy and to change loads of the set up like he did at Man U. Lawwell wouldn't want someone like him after the chin disaster.

Are you implying that Neil Lennon is a "Yes Man" and is controlled by the master puppeteer Honest Pete Lawwell?

And if you are then I agree, because Lennon is a Celtic fan and I can't see him coming out with that "£6m striker" pish without being told to from above.
