but they all played a part in the end well done .

Vito behind victory
In Sunderland's win at Stamford Bridge, goalkeeper Vito Mannone made 14 saves - the joint-most of any Premier League goalkeeper since 2003-04

yep Mannone for me

Hmmm, stats can be deceiving. How many of Vito's saves weren't very straightforward? The one from Matic then the cross from that rebound were good. Can't remember many more?

Great for him though after Etihad.

But how straight forward was Schwarzer's save that led to our first goal? Credit to Vito, he's been very shaky lately but didn't have the luxury to hide in this one.

Oh mate no doubt he had a good day. I think motm is more deserved by Larsson, Connor, Alonso, Borini and even brown.

Larsson, to come back from being dropped, not getting his contract renewed and he still put in a performance like that, I even loved how he joined Gus & Tauricco in the coaching area to bark out instructions - he provides the level head in midfield since Cattermole had his "breakdown".
