As far as I know, you can't pick what block you go in, just which price category you want and whether you want to be in a family section.

So as an East Stand card holder, let's say I'm paying £85 tickets and say no to family stand... I'm just put in a block allocated to East Stand in that price band?

There's surely several blocks per stand in different areas of the stadium?

Yes, you can't pick your seat, you can only pick your price category and if you're in a family section or not.

I didn't mean specifically pick the seat but pick preference on behind the goal or down the side of the pitch like we could for the semi when emailing?

You can try it when you're buying your ticket, but I suspect most people will just be happy to be there and will take whatever ticket they're allocated.

Whilst that is very true, I have to be pernickety (apparently I have small autistic traits) and want more info than given! <laugh><cool>

Yes, they could. Nothing to stop you ringing them today to see if they can make it a little easier for exiles to buy their tickets.

I phoned and they said said that a lot of people complained about taking too long to send out emails so they decided to limit it to telephone (as well as in person) so people would get an instant confirmation.

My confirmation was quick enough but at least they can justify it.

How many £115 tickets do we get? Is it like 4k like the semi.

I think the family area is the wrong way to go about it cause the middle aged people whom had more of a problem with people standing/singing won't go in that section

That should suit you both, as you don't seem to want to sit together the rest of the year.

I'd never get a pass for west stand, my dad on the other hand did 55years stood on Bunkers and Kempton so when we moved to KC got himself a comfy padded seat in the founder member area of west stand, but at away games he still likes to come with us east stand ruffians and re live his Kempton days ha ha

I'll be 62 when it's the final and I can't shout and sing as much as I used to but I don't mind giving it a go. I agree that that "family" isn't the best category and "singing/quiet" may not be the right split but I don't suppose it's legal to say "standing"!

It's allocating the tickets by stands that's to stop that issue, the family sections are unrelated.

Can't see it on here but the City website does give a bit more detail for people who went to the semi as a "+1" - they need to take their semi-final ticket stub and be able to give details of the season card holder who bought the original ticket.

If you want to sit together, you have to wait for Phase 2.

?

Misunderstood me? Each season ticket could buy two for the semis. Our two season tickets took four of us to the semi.
Under these rules I read it that we get two tickets in phase one, for the two passes, then a go at two more under phase three when the other two people from our four get to buy as semi final attendees (although as their tickets were bought under season passes I am guessing this is a technicality).
Just seems a shame that we should get four eventually, but this time he last two won't be in the same place. I get the thinking, but it will play havoc with anyone wanting to sit together who all went to the semi and did so.
