Having to buy your ticket in person/on the phone allows the club to ask where you want to sit/stand. If they have listened to all of us then the seats towards the front will be sitting and all those that want to sing and stand will be towards the back and together.

If this is the case we may all end up reasonably happy with the arrangements.

They could include some categories on the online email form rather than a good old chat on the phone.

This should remove most of the issues around standing/sitting, singing/not singing, etc. Hopefully no more issues with people getting punched in the back of the head as a result.

Though having to turn up in person or hang on the phone is a minor ballache.

How will it resolve these issues, they have allocated a section for families in each area? So, not unreasonably, someone in that area would be expecting people to generally remain. seated and less boisterous. That doesn't stop families or the sort who object to anyone acting like a normal football fan still being seated among those wishing to stand and sing so we will still have the same problems. The ones getting stroppy about people standing weren't families, they were cantankerous singles or couples, many of whom were wives or girlfriends on a day out because of the 2 tickets allowance. Fortunately a lot of the latter won't be at the final.
The club say they have listened to the fans. How? The fans wanted singing areas and they have provided gamily areas.

Can't believe they done away with email application. Makes it awkward.

Aye, that's the only problem I have. I guess it gives the club more control than an online application would. It would allow thee club to determine the seats of families/group bookings and would stop single seats been taken up randomly.

If you read they have set aside blocks for each stand. So west going first just get first pick of their block. When East go second they are still getting first pick of their blocks.

What I can't work out is that as a west stand season ticket holder I got two tickets for the semi. We had four tickets from out two passes in the family. Under this, not sure how we will get say together or manage four tickets again?? If we get two guaranteed any more will be unlikely to be in he same place?!

I wonder how many non season ticket holders bought when the tickets went on general sale.

Looks like I am driving up for the 1st rather than risk the lottery of having to ring on the 2nd.

Yes, they could. Nothing to stop you ringing them today to see if they can make it a little easier for exiles to buy their tickets.

Expecting a sell out, I bought tickets for a non pass holder on here for the semi, who has attended his fair share of games. I do hope he hasn't been sold short and unable to get a ticket for the final due to the arrangement we had? I bet plenty of others will be in the same situation who found a passholder to apply for them to not risk missing out, now day trippers who purchased themselves tickets on the final phase of general sale for the semi will be prioritised above those proper fans who went via a passholder.

This is absolutely preposterous. Get ready for sad "sit down" muppet types to be filling the gaps as soon as it gets general sale.

You can't really say that as an argument because people buyer items from the club shop and purchase things from the ground or travel to away games so without knowing who spends what it's impossible to say

I think he means they're paying more for their tickets to the final(ie Premier Club members are buying the £115 tickets).

The seats can be allocated afterwards anyway. It's just a method of ordering a ticket not allocating a seat.

If you want to sit together, you have to wait for Phase 2.

That's reasonable I think.

I'm interested to see which stands are in which blocks. I'd love to sit in 501 again. The view was amazing, right next to the opposition fans so good atmosphere too.

I sat with my mate who is a season pass holder at the Semi Final. Would he have to be with me when I book tickets or can I just have his details?

It doesn't actually specify what qualifies as buying a ticket for the semi-final. Maybe people turning up in person can present stubs from the semi? This would help those who used a season pass holders' second ticket, but obviously no help to those living too far to attend in person.

But if strictly applied in terms of buying through the club, then I suspect there may be quite a few still left for general sale.

I think the order of priority is pretty fair. I'd like to see an online option as well though.

OLM, don't suppose you could find out which blocks are which stands? Just out of interest... would be easier for buyers knowing what stands they have to choose from in advance and would surely speed up the queue.

That's 3 tickets sorted out for me n the junior tigers on Sunday the 27th.

110 @ the semi would be fine again for the final though not if it's a Deffo sit down and be quiet area.

As far as I know, you can't pick what block you go in, just which price category you want and whether you want to be in a family section.
