Had nice day out today. Got picnic stuff from Morrisons.

Got half way out of parking space and this old boy walks right round back of moving car causing me to brake to avoid hitting him.

Old boy walks down car park on my left then just I'm about to drive past walks right in front of me resulting in emergency stop.

Was going to mutter under breath and leave it but this old git starts giving it f this n that at me. So roll window down said next time I'll ****ing run you over twat.

Next sat in pensthorpe having lovely picnic lunch with the kids and these people kept pushing onto our little picnic table. I mean how rude is that? No can we sit here or is this seat taken no sit on end and slowly push along bench to get more space, I was genuinely gob smacked.

This happened about a dozen times and only One person asked politely. In the end had to put coats, jumpers, shoes etc on seat to stop it, it was a normal kind of 4 seat plank picnic bench and there were 4 of us.

The last straw was this pair of coffin dodgers sat next to me and the eldest asked for crisps so gave him cheese and onion and he sat between me and the old boy. The look this old moo gave him was beyond belief I honestly think she thought he should be sitting on the floor or something.

In the end I said if you don't like it you could go sit at one of the free picnic tables instead of barging in on my family picnic.

What really took the biscuit was there was at least 3 other tables with no one at at them but they were in the shade.

Bet thus wouldn't happen normally it's all easter tourists, never known anything like it was young and old ppl, pissed me right off

Then coming home overtake this old boy doing 40 on the A148 in 60 plenty of room but no the utter twat then accelerates up to 70 as I get alongside meaning I have to downshift and stamp on throttle to get round and in before the traffic coming other way gets to me. After get in the old bastards slows back down to 40,so decided to see how slow has was going lifted right off got down to 35 before he started catching up.

Why do people do that it's so bloody dangerous, 2 little kids in the car and he ****s up a safe manoeuvre and puts other road users at risk before slowing down to 20 under the limit again

    Utter cockwombles

It ain't just Norfolk, where I work with is in the middle of no where and there's always one slowing down great columns of traffic, who then goes apoplectic if someone has the audacity to overtake. Between that and the bloomin middle lane hogs on the m1, I have to laugh or despair most mornings!
    Motorists, people, Bah!

Norfolk is one of the most popular destinations actually AND given the number of Londoners buying 2nd homes here is more than in Cornwall think we're doing something right.

Might be something to do with all but 2 beaches massively exceeding water pollution targets. It being a very beautiful and NOT flat County, loads of fantastic tourist attractions and by and large friendly locals I'd say we're doing very well thanks.

70% of our village is 2nd homes to londoners it's repeated all along the coast and even inland to places like Briston and Melton Constable now

As oppose to Suffolk which is only travelled thru to get from the M1 to ports :p

I love Norfolk as a county, just can't stand the football club. <laugh> we have actually been looking at buying a house in Martham/Ormsby area, we will probably not do it this time but we will end up there eventually. one of my most favourite areas is Holkham beach, Absolutely beautiful.

I grew up (and went to school) in Martham having been born in Filby, and my mum used to live in Ormesby.

My best mate bought an old farmhouse in Winterton last year and we're spending the weekend up there with them - now that is another lovely beach and beautiful part of the world, hope the weather stays like this <ok>

It took almost ten minutes for me to cross the road outside my flat yesterday (near Le Moon chinese restaurant) - and it's not even Easter yet <wah>

Much as I love living here, Cromer is quite hideous when the sun shines. The stench of salt and vinegar because the whole world eats chips on the hoof can get repugnant.

*edit - forgot to mention that the tourists/caravan dwellers etc, always insist on walking four or five abreast and expect locals to walk in the road or gutter so they don't have to break formation. <grr>
    ****ers!

defo Munky, love walking the dog from hemsby to winterton, stop off at the fishermans return for a bacon and mushroom sandwich, big bowl of cheesy chips and then stagger back.

Hah ! Middle lane hoggers - the A1M between Alconbury and Peterborough is infested with them - 4 lane highway and you get tossers toodling along at 60 in lane 3 causing people to either swerve round them to overtake in lane 4 or undertake on the inside. We should adopt the same system as America where you can pass in any lane and undertaking isn't a crime....

I may well be paranoid but in our shopping precinct which is wider than a main road, I find people walking directly at me when there is absolutely no need, I've taken to not taking any avoiding action and they look at me as if it is my fault! <doh>

You won't catch me moaning about drivers, as by my own admission I'm a pretty bad one myself. Only got around to passing my test about a year ago (at the tender age of 36) and I still absolutely hate it!

Too many impatient idiots on the road, especially in the their white vans, does my head in

Is it true that the County of Norfolk only has 30 miles of Dual Carriageway! <yikes> I remember reading this somewhere and I thought at the time that it must be an absolute nightmare to get anywhere quickly!

Who wants to rush when the surroundings are so lovely?

Some of the signposts say - 2, maybe 3 or 4 miles to 'x', don't worry, you'll get there!
