I spent 40 years driving over 40,000 miles a year all over GB.

I can confirm that every area has its full share of idiot drivers.

Its nothing to do with any particular place, just part of human behaviour.

Yeah I've been a field engineer and drove over most of the UK and imho most people are stupid in one way or another. Used to fix tills you'd have bits of epos gear piled up all over conveyor belt and still ppl would unload their shopping onto it lol.

Ppl on holiday are the worst. Park in harbour area with big red sign saying unpredictable tidal flooding and try to sue the national Trust when their car floats away

You know I've always fancied creating some kind of in the know scheme for locals, like a car sticker with a symbol so when you see one you know they live here and you're nicer to them lol.

Trouble with living somewhere nice innit. Tourists driving on 60mph roads at 25 because they're enjoying the view (or lost)

Got blocked in today outside spar in Blakeney. In last parking space a land rover parks up my Bum behind me he was so close he set the reverse parking sensors off.

I sat there with foot on brakes with reverse light on, would he reverse back? No (and he was on double yellows) after beeping horn a few times he reversed back about a foot, so I reversed back till parking sensors beeping again, still not enough room to get out, sat there in reverse waiting and eventually he goes back another 6" and I get out.

Get down the road where the road narrows to just enough room for 2 cars to pass (double yellows again) someone in their 911 parks there (a foot from gutter) and wanders off to look in art gallery effectively blocking the road in both directions. Again judicious use of car horn and winding window down saying you can't Park there, guy says why not, I said well you see how narrow Road is here? That's why there's double yellows you stupid idiot

Blakeney is a nightmare Rich. I used to work as a night porter at the hotel there.
Funniest thing was when they parked their cars and there was an extra high tide. When I used to ring their rooms to let them know it would be best if they moved their cars, the arrogance from them was unbelievable.
Wish I'd had a camera the next morning when they woke to see their cars in a couple of foot of water <laugh>

Lol Yup local shops being as a mere mortal can't afford to shop in picnic fayre.

I worked on Carnser car park for one summer, was hilarious when a particularly nasty piece of work came down after leaving his brand new lexus on the Quay overnight, opened it and the world dropped out of his pants with 6" of salt water in it. He came back later in the day screaming blue murder. You should've warned me!

Haven't seen you till today sir. There should be signs up! Like this big red one next to pay & display machine you mean?

I don't use pay and display machines I AM IN THE NATIONAL TRUST.

Oh well not much can do then sorry.

Came back later said, there's no warning in the handbook.!

    Produced one and read it

Caution unpredictable tidal flooding seek advice

Last I heard he was still firing lawyers letters around.
