Assault?! Yeah it was a foul but 'keepers get shoved and jostled loads without any help from the refs. It only became a foul once Carroll's arm connected with Mignolet's arm, a little knock on the head isn't enough. Liverpool fan's should know better, Skrtel's been pushing and pulling players in the box all season, you get more leeway for foul's from setpieces. If we had video refs they'd be pouring over replays trying to work out which player started fouling first
I thought the failure to give the Sakho one was the worst decision because it was so blatant and there was no way the ref couldn't have seen it, he had a clear line of sight. Suarez should've been booked for diving but so should about a million other incidents like that this season, cards for diving are down because refs have simply stopped giving them. Infact, Milner should've been booked a few minutes later too although there's no doubt about which had the bigger impact.
I don't get all the denying of you guys getting more decisions going in your favour though, you all complained about United's preferential treatment from refs like everyone else. Even then there were still examples of decisions wrongly going against them, they didn't get every single decision. And if it really bothers you then just ignore it. When Fergie retired Sky Sports wouldn't have mentioned United getting the vast majority of dubious refereeing decisions, they just talked about how many trophies he won. History only remembers the winners so enjoy the good fortune, no sense denying it.
