Suarez picked up his 5th yellow in today's game, so at least he won't get his customary hat trick next week!

I was just about to moan that he wasn't sent off for his dive a few mins ago, but that's just as good!

Suspensions are automatically imposed for accumulating 5, 10, or 15 cautions in a season. There are cut-off dates for receiving a sanction as a result of accumulated cautions. They are:

CAUTIONS

CUT OFF DATES (Inclusive)

5 31 December
10 2nd Sunday in April
15 End of Season

For example, a player earning their fifth caution of the season on or after 1st January would not earn any ban. However, if they received ten cautions by the second Sunday in April, a ban would apply. Players who receive 20 or more cautions in a season shall be required to attend a Regulatory Commission.

Please note, The FA WSL does not have cut-off dates. Automatic suspensions for players of WSL teams accumulating 5, 10, 15 cautions etc will take effect at any stage during the WSL Season.

Looks like Suarez will be available then, Clattenburg bottled sending him off.

I know I piss off a lot of you because you think I've been so negative about Hughton for the last twelve months, but I just want to say that it's far from all over. We may only need three points and the rest of the clubs down there are nothing special. If Adams can keep the players believing in themselves, we can do it.

From the game I saw yesterday the effort was there but the quality was utterly pitiful at times, people messing up simple passes and getting in the way of one another that has been the story of our season at times, when we have possession people are over eager and mess things up. If we manage a calm half I might have some hope of picking something up potentially.

I don't think we should focus solely on Fulham. When someone (Carrabuh I think) dismissed Sunderland and Cardiff as incapable of getting 32 points a couple of days ago, I pointed out that one of them almost certainly would reach it, and that was before yesterday's unexpected 3 points for Cardiff. Now it is almost guaranteed. Emotions aside, I think it is most likely that we will be relegated with both Fulham and Cardiff above us.

As I said in an earlier thread, it could be the perfect football day, beat Liverpool to save our necks and stop me from being sent to prison for murdering a plastic scouser droning on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on

Drat and I was going to put a bet on that he wouldn't!!!!

Nice to see so much optimism on the board re our survival in the PL. I was talking to another 'fan' last night, who reckons we're definitely down and most of the squad will want to leave!!! <glasscompletelyemptyemoticon>
