Tennis is a great game, i enjoy the majors. Murray going out early would stop the whole country going mad and then him ****ing it in the semi's. Being Marbella based, i'll be pinning my colours on the Nadal mast (not his mast, just a mast)
Wimbledon sums up why I hate supporting England/Britain at sport. Ridiculous expecations, every year. A sense of entitlement and delusions of grandeur by ignorant fans who dont appreciate foreign talent because they dont bother to research the sport. Its like how the British media writes off Germany every football tourney, because they don't know much about the players, because German football isnt on British TV. Its ignorance at it's height. But they see English players week in week out so they must be great right?
Spot on mate. Murray is a very good player, but Djokovic and Nadal are so far ahead of him he might as well be sat at home drinking an Irn-Bru. Funny this 'weakest German side with no young talent' weren't it....Ozil....Marin.....Podolski..... Yep, dog **** players....
The one thing I have never done ever, is underestimate the Germans. As for Murray the anti English comments pissed me off, not disputing his right to have them, but then expecting England to cheer him on is laughable.
Couldn't give a flying **** about tennis or Murray. I still have the mental scars from having to listen to Cliff Richard on Centre Court all those years ago
He's knocked it up a gear and is walking it now. Not a good sign dropping a set in the first round though This might niggle with his girlfriend but Murray won't make it past a semi this time.
A lot of it is down to Gimeno missing easy shots now. I wonder what that gorgeous lass sitting with Murrays mum see's in a gimpy looking miserable Scottish millionaire?
Personally, I would like to se him win Wimbledon (can't see it happening though), and how fit looking is his girlfriend!
