The truth is we really are behind the times when it comes to logos and crests. While club crest really adds **** all to club in general but is displayed so often and used as a marketing icon constantly to warrant regular upkeep and upgrading.

I don't mind our current crest but i will freely accept a modernized design.

Its a bit dated and theres just too much happening on here so it just looks cluttered if truth be told
 
The club gets recognition, new fans & therefore more sponsors/money etc from how it performs on the pitch.

Having a new crest would generate next to no new awareness. All it would generate, would be some profit to whatever pile of ****shite advertising ****shites got the contract to slightly change the crest to something "modern".

As it appears Katharina likes the heritage & identity of the "old crest", its a pointless debate anyway.
 
I like the 'old' crest and always have. I want it to stay. I think it is superb.

Here is the new USA away kit for the world cup. I might have to support them now, purely for aesthetic reasons. Haven't seen a shirt as nice as this for a very long time. If saints adopted it and changed the blue to black, I think we'd have an all-time winner on our hands.

Yeah, those are remarkably good considering the color palette they have to work with. I was shocked, considering the home kit is the worst, most uninspired POS I've ever seen. It's literally just a plain white polo shirt.

Here is the new USA away kit for the world cup. I might have to support them now, purely for aesthetic reasons. Haven't seen a shirt as nice as this for a very long time. If saints adopted it and changed the blue to black, I think we'd have an all-time winner on our hands.

I don't really like it...perhaps it's better on someone. Looks too Captain America for me. England was very limited as apparently FIFA told us we had to have plain white...presumably after reviewing all the other teams colours.
