Croydon. Now that takes me back!My old gran would shop there after running away on many occasions to stay with friends in Wallington after grandad came home after one of his pub benders.
Mum would take me down on the old Northern Line to Tooting Broadway and catch a bus that used to hide in a side turning opposite the tube station.I use to love that trip! "Do it again grandad!!!!!!"

I know....this has nothing to do with Spurs either, but, what the hell??????

Croydon,Wallington, two of my old stomping grounds, coming from Sutton, just down the road

One benifit of Scottish independence could be that England and Wales could ditch Grenwich Mean Time and align with Europe using Central European Time. Lighter evenings in the winter would be superb.

Sutton at home to Bath City today, and i'm working!,big game for Sutton as it could move them to within 4 points of the leaders, even if it's only for 24 hours,as Eastleigh play tomorrow

Sutton drew 2-2- with Bath City,we are unbeaten in 15 now,but have only drawn the last 3,means we have dropped 6 points, not to bad playoff wise, but makes it very hard to win the league now

"It's a long time since we have seen Levy smile."

The Sutton result + the warm weather must have cheered him up, surely.

Bit of perspective on our latest awful display, as there's been a horrible incident in Sweden today.
Their season opener between Helsingbord and Djurgaarden saw a fan of the latter team murdered in a fight before the game.
The tie had to be abandoned as fans fought on the pitch and in the stands on hearing of the news.

Terrible stuff and I hope it doesn't lead to any retribution.

To a far lesser extent, but also a bit of perspective, I was at a charity game earlier today involving our Spurs Legends team. Our former player Ramon Vega came on at half time and within a couple of minutes had dislocated his kneecap. Not nice to see someone's kneecap sticking out of his thigh and then the poor man had to wait nearly an hour for the ambulance.

Bloody hell. Not nice.
What was with the delay? I had to call an ambulance for someone that had an epileptic fit on Saturday and I only had to wait a couple of minutes.
Lucky location, I guess.

Spurs Legends
Ramon Vega

One of these is not like the other.
