Sutton being beaten did'nt do to much Damage as Bromley in 3rd lost as well the others have a bit of a gap to make up,the ones who profited were Eastleigh who won 3-2 to increase their lead,we are probaby playing for Runners -up now
Amazing when Sutton are 14 points better off than the 5th place team, yet that 5th place team gets to play in a playoff....which they could win on a good day.Doesn't seem fair somehow! p.s.Weren't Chelsea lucky that Ibrimavitch got injured and couldn't play in the return..........?
Sutton have been in 3 play-offs and never won them,so i'm not to expecting much, the reserves have won the Suburban league though with 3 to play.Chelsea's luck in europe continous, how Come Maureen was'nt sent to the stands last night, for being on the pitch Again!
Six pointer for Sutton tomorrow and another chance to "cement" a playoff place if they haven't already,at home to 4th place Ebbsfleet, who were relegated from the conference Premier last season,Sutton lost the fixture at their ground 2-0,in December

Six goals for me to cheer at the weekend,Three Spurs and 3 Sutton,as they won 3-1 v Ebbsfleet, one more point now to make sure of the play-offs,playing Bishop Stortford on Saturday at their place
Ah the mighty Bishops Stortford. I used to live there in a previous life and I can remember taking the wife there to watch them play Spurs in a pre-season exhibition match. Not a big ground if I recall and I can still picture the wife nearly internally combusting when a certain David Ginola did his stretches and warm up directly in front of her. I can also recall some gangly youth who looked like Bambi on stilts playing up front. Crouch I think his name was....
good weekend for me,Spurs win and Sutton win at Bishop Stortford 2-1 confirming a play-off place, and another three points for runners-up as 3rd place team only drew, can't win the league as Eastleigh, won it on good Friday
Anyone watching the Leeds Forest game? I assume there has been some sort of fan boycott looking at the empty spaces?
Sutton won 1-0 v Concord Ranger's today, one game left and three points ahead of third place Bromley, they need Sutton to lose, and then they need to win by more than 7 goals to take the runners-up spot from Sutton
I guess Chelsea not only parked the bus but took the wheels off and stuck it in a trench. I could hear The Russian chastising Maureen and telling him he didn't care what they did,he wanted a result or your out 'a here! Will Chelsea be playing for a penalty shoot out in the home leg?
http://www.footy-boots.com/christian-eriksen-nike-magista-football-boots/ Eriksen on football boots and set pieces. Not strictly relevant to much really, unless you're mad keen on the boots front, but its always nice to hear from a guy who is rapidly becoming everyone's favourite Spurs player. Nice to see that Nike clearly see him as one of their elite players too, if he's getting to test their boots early and they take his feedback during development. Sort of a mark of the calibre of the player we have on our hands I guess.
Yes,Danny was no "runner".Always seem to have flat feet.Perhaps he did.We beat Arsenal to his signature because Spurs paid the fee wanted.Arsenal did not! Manager Arthur Rowe remarked that it was the first time for a long time that I could enjoy a game.(That was Danny's Spurs debut at Manchester City.0-0 draw.) He was never in a hurry when he had the ball at his feet.I remember Dennis Law trying to kick Danny up in the air in one game while playing for N Ireland but he just kept on calmly playing his game and ignoring the dirt..... I particularly liked his little ground floor scissor kicks to his winger.Cheeky, but effective. I can't remember what became of his Man U brother Jackie, badly injured in the Munich plane crash.I know Jackie never played again. I was a regular reader of Danny's articles in the Daily Express. I think his only mess up was becoming manager of Chelsea. This after doing some coaching at Spurs under Bill. They should name the street after him!
