Finally listened to it.

Can't be bothered to waste my time going through all the points but what a load of absolute bullshit. Utter bollocks the lot of it.

Ehab's comments about the atmosphere and fans were also very disrespectful- he clearly doesn't give a toss.

Wish Burnsy would have pushed him more, no journalist has really got stuck into them yet.

Just hope the ballot result is a resounding no. I hope the Allams go- I'm fed up of it now and they this will just drag on and on. Then there'll be something else.

And why the same thing will happen if we win the FA Cup

Didn't someone say on a previous thread that the Allams had been speaking to ERYC regarding an open top bus touring East Yorks (not Hull) and ending with civic reception in Beverley should we win the FA Cup (or was it just a bit of mischief making?).

Would have been a more interesting interview if Amanda White had been turned loose on Ehab though I don't imagine she would be welcome at Allam towers. As others have said the same old mixture of threats half truths and downright lies re-heated and dished up on a different plate.

I suspect the Allams wont give an interview to any journo who they suspect will push the point too far, and I'm fairly sure Humberside are aware if they piss the Allams off too much they will lose most of their current access to the club.

I'm sure you are correct.

Would be good if CTWD could interview them, then we'd see how 'strong' their argument is.

Why was he disrespectful to the fans regarding the atmosphere, or rather lack of it? The atmosphere is dire. He does acknowledge the CTWD lot are contributing to an atmosphere. His complaint seems to be with the silent majority, silent being the operative word. Good to see that he agrees that all those numbnuts who sit there spectating and demanding to be entertained and who were informing us not long ago that singing and making a noise were not important were wrong.

It's the way he says it, almost belittling the fans. Obviously he's not being totally serious when he says he's happy with the 19:04 chant, it's his way of trying to turn it into a positive. Our atmosphere might not be great, but it's not as bad as people make out and compared to other grounds I've been to this season it's been no worse than any others.

How do the Club know that they've received some blank forms?

Are they just basing this on people suspecting it's balnk, or have they checked?

They don't know, they just assume that some are blank.

Partly because they have the same problem with the FA Cup semi applications and partly because people are telling them that when they check the forms they've saved, they've found them to be blank.

We did discuss asking them to take part in a live debate, but as they haven't responded to any of our correspondence since the meeting, we assumed that they wouldn't take part and us publicising that fact might just look like petty point scoring.

I believe Gerard Toplass(City vice president, mate of Ehab's, author of the stuff on the Yes To Hull Tigers website and general Twitter nuisance) has been invited to take part in a debate on the Amber Nectar podcast, but I'm not sure if he's responded yet. Based on his Twitter performance to date, I'd expect Andy and Les to tear him a new one.

That's a shame, but hardly surprising- it would be suicide from their point of view.

All of his stuff is just embarrassing- it'd almost be quite funny if it wasn't so important.

I've been following Mr Toplass's nonsense on Twitter (in fact I left him a comment earlier, which he hasn't responded to) and the man's a ****ing tool.

Watching MOTD on Saturday I wondered if they hd turned the microphones down at City so quiet was it compared to the likes of Norwich with a similar sized crowd. Of course Norwich has more people there to support their team and not to sit spectating, more interested in seeing the other team's stars and who would be willing to see their club change their name in the misplaced hope this would keep them in the PL. You don't see Norwich fans leaving in droves no matter what the score is. Must be great for our players to look round after a win and see a half empty ground. Any potential investors wouldn't be too impressed at the lack of enthusiasm compared to other clubs either.

Never heard of Gerard Toplass. But just had a quick look at his Twitter account. What a clueless twat.

Do they have a walkway at the bottom of the stand along which people can walk?

Perhaps if people could egress freely outside instead of facing a big fence they wouldn't need to walk such a long way right along the east side (whilst watching the game/obstructing the view).

But those 'two points' are not the basis for changing the name.
They are merely 2 current examples. "what was the advert I saw only the other day, oh McCoy's crisps; what does a tiger have to do with crisp. See, the symbol of a tiger has value". OK, not a great example, but it was only that, a very recent example.
With the Everton analogy, that merely demonstrates the sort of shirt sponsorship we could or need to be aiming for, not relative chickenfeed from a **** sponsor like we currently have. Of course we'll likely get a much better deal this time around (summer?), but probably no better, and likely worse, than any of the other bottom half clubs without as he put it a 'USP'.
Remember also, Burnsie is a professional journalist (some may not agree  ). EA is a businessman (some may not agree:wink:<whistle>)

There is no excuse for the number of people who leave early the KC no matter what the score is. At places like Norwich if they are drawing they are encouraging them to the end not leaving with nearly 10 minutes to go and after a good win they stay to applaud them off. People in Hull seem to be afraid of being late for their tea. Or maybe there is something on TV they want to watch. I have read people claiming they have a long way to travel. All the way to places like Hessle. It takes me up to 2 hours to travel home after a game but I never leave early so why do people living in Hull need to do so?

Seeing as many of them seem to go over the footbridge or via the park the fence is not the cause of those leaving the East Stand. And even less to do with those departing the West Stand.

How do you know all the early leavers are resident in Hull?

How do you know how many people leave early at Norwich if there exits are not visible on tv because of their location?

The egress at City is a disaster as everyone is forced by the lazy and stupid police to exit one way.

I doubt Norwich (or anyone else) has to do that.

I just don't see this mass exodus to which you refer.

There's sometimes a natural break in the game just before 90 mins which might see a few hundred leave in unison but nothing like you describe.

It says a lot if he's all the Allams have in their corner. <doh>

He does't offer a reasoned argument, he just spouts the same crap. Interesting he sees the ballot as three options (yes, don't care, didn't vote) to support the Allams and only the NO vote being against.
