There´s no doubt the points that we earned against Cats Were three of the biggest this year, And looking at our recent ´v. Swansea´ stats This weekend´s game should bring some cheer I´m sure if Bergman and Bogart were alive And wearing their Canary shirt, They´d say "Play it again, Chris", that way we´ll thrive And keep our snouts out of the dirt And though Casablanca is far from Swansea The sentiment does still hold true, Don´t change a winning team unless needs be And here I´d agree with that view The starting eleven last week did us proud So despite players coming back, I hope he won´t madden the maddening crowd And change defence, midfield or attack The wolfman was as close as he has yet been To finding that elusive hole, Even if chances are few and far between He´s still edging towards a goal To drop either Elmander or Hoolahan Would seem really quite harsh indeed, And the Tettey Howson midfield caravan Has certainly not run to seed Some may think 4-4-2 is suicide To take to the Welsh ´Liberty´, But we need to arrest our away slide And Monk won´t expect that, you see. OTBC PS: But if I could predict the line-up each week Then top of the table I´d be, So no doubt he´ll surprise us all as we speak But who cares, if our points are three.
Couldn´t resist it Rob, being such an apt misquotation, hope you can forgive me Wonderful film by the way!
My fear with Saturday's team is that we looked a bit weak on the left at times because Wes would peal off and move more centrally. I would want to tell Wes to stick to the left as he needs to roam. I also wonder is we lacked pace a touch, redmond was excellent at getting in behind the Swansea defence at home. If I was looking to make a change I'd play redmond instead of Elmander and put Wes behind the striker. May be though I'm thinking too hard and playing the same team will be good for confidence. So long as we don't play Johnson I'll be happy at 2 on Saturday.
Correct on Shakespeare, well done. Merchant of Venice. But you've made the next common mistake - the word is "glisters" which is obviously now obsolete
