Bringing out the pessimist in me, we could quite conceivably lose our next 2. Away to Burnley who haven't lost at home all season, and away to Wigan who are on fire.

Then the pressure would really be on us to beat Sheffield Wednesday at home on Friday night.

Disappointing to only get a point last night, want us to confirm promotion ASAP... The wait is going to kill me!

I think we'll win both <whistle>

But we could lose both <wah>

Sorry, the worry is starting to creep in. I hope the players don't have the same mentality as me <laugh>

I think last night will have acted as a bit of a wake-up call and will have swiftly blown away any tendency towards complacency - there were a few underperformers last night who, hopefully, have had a bit of a shock from how close we came to losing that unvbeaten recored - the very positive thing is that we didn't - we salvaged it in, let's face it, dramatic and somewhat inspirational style!

We have no divine right to win this league and must earn it ... but our destiny is still very much our own hands - also we are 13 points clear of QPR in third with a game in hand - that is some cushion to have at this point and if we make it 16 by winning that game in hand it becomes almost insurmountable ...

Our achilles heel is still our conversion rate (or even getting chances on the bloody target) ... if the BBC stats are accurate we had 31 goal attempts last night but only 8 were on target ... that's piss poor for professional footballers - just over 25% - or to put it another way we had 23 attempts that the keeper did not even have to make a save from) ...

... roll on Saturday <laugh>

Have to admit a little worry is creeping in, specially with 2 massive games coming up, how diff it will be if we took 4 points from them tho. I will def try to stay positive, but i know from many many yrs of experience, that lcfc never make it easy for us fans by doing things the easy way :emoticon-0106-cryin:steam:<doh>

The players looked completely off colour yesterday, as usual Kasper has to get us out of trouble, (but not in the way you'd expect!) he's surely a Leicester legend now. Hopefully that's just a blip- remember the manager wasn't around. It looked like they had no plan for if Yeovil were to score, and the number of misplaced passes/long balls was a little embarrassing. The drama of the final minutes may gloss over the worst performance of the season, but let's remember we're still unbeaten, and we've definitely got a great chance of beating Burnley, and even if we do lose, we still have a game in hand over them.
Got to say, I was angry at Leicester for being about to lose on my birthday, but that finish has made up for it a bit!

I reckon it was because NP was in hospital for the preparation - with him back, we'll sort things out.

Its not Leicester if we get promoted easily <ok>

Yeah it makes it more interesting to have the customary "wobble" Would be happy with a point on Saturday. Lets face it though, promotion is priority not the title (not that any one has suggested otherwise) so I'll be happy everytime QPR drop points to send us closer to having that "P" next to our names. If the title comes with it then great.

Top marks to Wood for following up, BUT the ref/ass ref got it all wrong & that could of been a very important **** up had Wood not finished it off. GLT works in the prem, get it all over. There´s a bit of a stink here in Germany about a goal that `never was` but was, it´s needed FULL STOP.

Queenie logic.

Not really. You yourself have said that you are the best team in the league and better than us...

Therefore

You should be above us (you are) and you should beat who we do(waiting....<laugh>

Still reckon we'll get a draw at your place too...would that make us as good as you..? <ok>

Alsio been reading a lot of reports that Wigan are the "best Team" in the div. Cant be arsed to go back down that raoad. You beating them should silence the critics..

Good Luck...

We already have plus a heap more.
Obviously nice to break records like the unbeaten run but I would be happy with a win against either Burnley or Wigan. Both very tough games.

Queens, I think you are missing the point (and not for the first time) <doh>

I agree with you that on any day, anybody can beat anybody. That doesn't make them the better team.

If you go on the logic that "x beat y, and y beat z, therefore, x should beat z", you can make out that Hyde are better than Bayern Munich.

Our point was, after winning 11 in a row, and now 18 (19?) games unbeaten and sitting top of the league, we are currently the best team in the league. How can you argue against that?

Let's get this straight... The aim of a league system is to obtain the most points, ergo, the best team is the team who obtain the most points... And that team is currently us. Capiche?

If Burnley go on to win the league, then I will admit they are the best team, because they have the most points

It's REALLY not that hard to wrap your head around, but please, give it one more go <ok>

The best team in the league is the one with the most points, which is different to the best "form" team, which only takes the last few games into account.

Burnley are the best form team at the moment, picking up 16 points out of a possible 18.

Although we are having a "wobble" we are still 2nd in the form table, so thats why im not too worried about our 2 draws, also it keeps us on track for 91 points at 1 point per game.

Nice try Jack <laugh> can't fault the resoning ... but then again, history has shown us that Vikings are not best known for rational thought or debate <laugh>
