The title is secondary to promotion in the same way as owning a Porsche is to staying alive. I'd like to have both, but one is infinitely more important. Two other key points - we increased our lead on Derby and Wigan who now have fewer games to catch us and look incapable of doing so and we'd have lost that match in seasons gone. Your result was actually more annoying than Burnley's because it has delayed our promotion party. The Burnley match is on Sky on Sat at 12.15.
Better call it 12, I know our goal difference is currently much better than QPR's, but just to be safe. So all we have to do is beat Burnley away, Wigan away and Brighton and Wednesday at home and it's over. Well, we should beat Wednesday...
A goalkeeper actually scores for once? WOW. You see it all the times on playstation fifa, now here it is. Thanks for uploading, ive had a few pints tonite roll on the foxes
Regardless of whether Kasper gets the goal he truely got us out of jail and keeps the momentum going Saturday is a must not lose now
We play twice before anyone else after Burnley. So, if everything goes swimmingly... We could be 12 points clear of them before they play again, a psychological advantage some might say...
@talkSPORTgeoff: Burnley 16 unbeaten, inc 8 wins in 10, still flying without Ings/Trippier but Marney suspended v Leicester. Big loss, top player #BFC #LCFC
All set up for a cracking game on Saturday. Not sure it is a must win though. I'm more concerned with us getting those 12 points sooner rather than later
Great that Vardy made it through last night without getting booked. Really wasnt his normal self and missed a sitter early on Let him play his normal game on Saturday and we will deal with the suspension
I have not seen any of your games in full this season, but on Saturday I will be glued to the monitor to watch this one - hope it lives up to expectations.
Posted on another thread that we would likely drop points where not expected but perhaps gain them where not ... set myself up now a number of times but I think we'll win at Burnley on Saturday and break their unbeaten home record ... we've given them a sniff of the title now and they'll have to come for it ... which I think is going to suit us nicely ... only time will tell ...
Bringing out the pessimist in me, we could quite conceivably lose our next 2. Away to Burnley who haven't lost at home all season, and away to Wigan who are on fire. Then the pressure would really be on us to beat Sheffield Wednesday at home on Friday night. Disappointing to only get a point last night, want us to confirm promotion ASAP... The wait is going to kill me!
