The club will take legal action against the FA decision, the ballot is aimed at proving that the fans support them and want them to continue to fight for the name change.

If the fans don't support the name change, they'll stop acting in the interests of the club and start acting in the interests of themselves(though wouldn't do anything detrimental to the club).

Walking away in 24 hours was a metaphor, not what would actually happen. <laugh>

Ehab happy with City Till I Die chant, desperate for a better atmosphere at the KC.

The figure Ehab's put on the increased sponsorship is £10m(though only £1-2m a year to start with), pointed out that Everton just signed a £5m a year shirt sponsorship deal and we should be competing with them for deals like that. Being called Tigers gives us 'a competitive edge' in Asia, though nobody has ever offered sponsorship or investment based on a name change(this is utter bollocks).

CTWD are a bit mean.

No figure in mind for the sale of the club, 'it's business as usual until we're voted out'(very disingenuous).

Burnsy's actually doing a decent job, Ehab's floundering.

The highlighted statement would debunk the need for some to put forward the doomsday scenario of falling trough the leagues.
 
I wonder how fast an anti Allam campaign could make their position untenable and how fast he could be chased out the club so he can cause as little more damage as possible?

Just market the arse off Hull Tigers in Asia and The Americas - 99.999999999% of those exposed to Hull Tigers will never set foot in the City or stadium.

Numbers don't seem big enough to require a name change in the UK and Europe, if the desired sponsors are from Asia / Americas.

Not bothered will win the vote and, by association, give the Allams grounds to challenge the FA - they will lose.

Look to compromise then.
 
Burns didn't really force Ehab to explain how the club would get these extra millions. He let him off the hook.



Imagine if in the Scottish independence ballot there were three options:

No to independence
I'm not really bothered what happens to Scotland. I'll still be Scottish.
 
I thought he was very weak and Burnsy did a decent job, though he should have pushed him more on the loaded questions in the ballot, based on all the things he said about getting the support of fans. It's patently obvious that there is no serious business strategy behind this idea, Ehab was just coming up with vague justifications for his dads stubborn stupidity.

What is wrong is AA's propensity to put his foot in it. The pressure shouldn't be on chasing them out of town, but on building on all the great things that have happened whilst pressing for such as more of EA as the more reasonable, understandable front man, on helping find a way to work constructively with the council, and the like.
And so much for the continuing lack of integrity from many who join the 'no campaign' when the no campaign clearly state this is a single issue cause. Many are clearly opposed to that fundamental claim from the no campaign yet back it.

He's just confirmed on live radio, that nobody has ever asked us to change our name, he's come out with some utter nonsense about the name change potentially making us a more attractive investment opportunity. He just lost the argument and he lost it badly.

Nobody is trying to drive the Allam's out, but AA's spat with the council has got out of hand and the Allam's are making a complete and utter mess of this now.

A line needs to be drawn, it's beyond pathetic.

I don't understand why you are so flattering towards Ehab. He's saying exactly the same as his mad Dad, the only difference is he's phrasing it more politely and hasn't wished death on anyone or called anybody a hooligan as yet.

He still can't present a coherent argument for a name change or offer any evidence re the benefits they insist this will bring.

The Nobel Peace Prize isn't quite in the bag just yet.
