This is one of the worst United articles yet. Why should the onus be on them when discussing a title race and not the teams that are actually involved in the title race? If we're going on who has a say in the race you may as well pick Sunderland who play Liverpool, Chelsea and City, and probably have more chance of beating the latter than United given their recent track record.
At least try and mask your bias by opening a new thread under the disguise of Man City.
Enough of the Man Utd regurgitated HYS....
Two Manchester United "stories" side by side open for comment. Ok, I will: the BBC's bias towards Manchester United is a disgrace and does not serve the licence payer.
The mancs could get relegated and Mr MancNulty would still fill the BBC website with article after article on them.
Even as a United fan it seems strange to have two United articles open for comment at the same time.

Yet another example of the obsession the bbc has with Manchester. Is there some agenda here in trying to promote this gloomy place? Personally I'd be glad not to pay a license fee for a service that is so biased in favour of Manchester. It's like there is only articles worth writing about is the football teams there. Both articifically financed like the bbc. Hello ! There is a world outside !!
Hey McNulty, 5 out of the 6 articles you've written in the past 10 days have been about Man Utd or Moyes. Is your knowledge of football that narrow that you can't find anything else to write about?
Nothing new but just wanted to support the thrust of the comments. In a time where the BBC seems to have curtailed the number of articles open to comment, there are two articles about Manchester United open this morning.
Fed up with stories about united, a mid table team that play dreary football. Can't the BBC do better, pure laziness...

Aaaaaah!. There there BBC. Yet another article about their favourite team. Isn't the BBC's favourite team going to win the Premier League? Never mind Phil. Dry you tears. Your favourite player is on £300,000 a week so all is well for him. No sympathy for Utd, their glory hunting fans, Phil McNulty or the BBCMUTV. Impartial BBC? That's a thing of the past. (A bit like Man Utd)

Phil, there are a lot of teams who can have a bearing on the title race despite not being able to win it themselves. Swansea are playing Arsenal tonight so are you going to write an article about Swansea? Thought not. You're obsessed about Midtable United but please find more interesting teams to write about.

Phil your devotion and obvious passion for writing articles relating to Manchester United has become dull, tedius & all to predictable. Whilst I don't wish anybody out of a job I do genuinely think the BBC football section would be better off without you. Even Robbie Savage creates a better read than your good self. I think you should re-evaluate your position as "chief football writer".
Please BBC, please for the love of football, please stop producing articles relating to Manchester United. This is the third article now dedicated to them. There was several talking points over the weekend, Everton continuing to push for European football, a 9 goal thriller in Wales, relegation battles between Sunderland, Norwich, WBA & Hull yet we're left with this utter dross yet again.

Aaaaah thank god for our daily BBC - Man Utd fix. My day almost feels incomplete without a HYS about a team that is going nowhere this season. I mean come on who wants to hear about Man City or Chelsea or the relegation scrap at the bottom. It would mean the chief football writer would have to research other clubs though, why take the time to do that when you can just write about 1 club all the time

Can anyone ever see a day where a similar placed club in the league say Newcastle would ever have to open HYS articles on their fan support which is loyal and strong and their roil in the league? Nor can I this is a big middle finger to all football fans from the BBC

It's sad seeing the beeb desperately trying to salvage something from the wreckage of a season, and attempting to make it look like Man Useless have been somehow unlucky, as opposed to ****e.

he even on another forum i used,when i said utd liverpool will always be rivals and nothing will change that, he attempted to rip my post apart like he was some sort of oracle by saying we are nothing to them, he got banned after that not sure what for though as wasn't on at time.
They lost their neutrality when they moved from London to Salford, the BBC head of sport obviously agrees with the Utd fanzine in place of the national football news.
But this season has been a massive kick in the bollocks for both them and their licence fee sponsored local club.
And we love it.
