As a Yorkshire man, I wouldn't refer to someone from Leeds as a Tyke. A Tyke is from Barnsley
I stand corrected Roger, thanks for putting me right.

http://21stcenturywire.com/2014/03/...rter-again-with-staged-panorama-chemical-doc/A number of prominent voices, including the former British Ambassador Craig Murray, have branded this Panorama production as “fake”

Why are the BBC concentrating on a team that will likely, at best, only finish sixth?
Have I logged onto MUTV in error?
This is one of the worst United articles yet. Why should the onus be on them when discussing a title race and not the teams that are actually involved in the title race? If we're going on who has a say in the race you may as well pick Sunderland who play Liverpool, Chelsea and City, and probably have more chance of beating the latter than United given their recent track record.
At least try and mask your bias by opening a new thread under the disguise of Man City.
Enough of the Man Utd regurgitated HYS....
Two Manchester United "stories" side by side open for comment. Ok, I will: the BBC's bias towards Manchester United is a disgrace and does not serve the licence payer.
The mancs could get relegated and Mr MancNulty would still fill the BBC website with article after article on them.
Even as a United fan it seems strange to have two United articles open for comment at the same time.
Is McNulty on the Man U PR pay roll?
Wow, another Manc U HYS. Great.
blah, blah blah blah, blah blah blah, blah blah, Moyes cannot cope, blah blah blah, Man Utd fans cannot accept it is a bad period for them, blah blah blah, former Champions, blah blah blah, Prawn sandwiches, blah blah blah, hate the 6 hour commute to Old Trafford, blah blah blah, getting bored now, blah blah blah, bias to Man Utd, blah blah blah, blah blah blah, what a banal thread, blah blah blah
This is typical of Auntie Beeb. After all the complaints about the last McNulty masterpiece on Man U. They post 2 threads about them.
Another article about Man Utd....why is anyone surprised!
And so, across the whole of the BBC Football spectrum there are only 2 open HYS threads... and of course, they're both kissing the feet of Man U and David Moyes. It's becoming a bit of a joke really!
Yet another example of the obsession the bbc has with Manchester. Is there some agenda here in trying to promote this gloomy place? Personally I'd be glad not to pay a license fee for a service that is so biased in favour of Manchester. It's like there is only articles worth writing about is the football teams there. Both articifically financed like the bbc. Hello ! There is a world outside !!
Hey McNulty, 5 out of the 6 articles you've written in the past 10 days have been about Man Utd or Moyes. Is your knowledge of football that narrow that you can't find anything else to write about?
Nothing new but just wanted to support the thrust of the comments. In a time where the BBC seems to have curtailed the number of articles open to comment, there are two articles about Manchester United open this morning.
Fed up with stories about united, a mid table team that play dreary football. Can't the BBC do better, pure laziness...
Why is there another article about Utd?
Aaaaaah!. There there BBC. Yet another article about their favourite team. Isn't the BBC's favourite team going to win the Premier League? Never mind Phil. Dry you tears. Your favourite player is on £300,000 a week so all is well for him. No sympathy for Utd, their glory hunting fans, Phil McNulty or the BBCMUTV. Impartial BBC? That's a thing of the past. (A bit like Man Utd)
Another pathetic attempt to mention ManU. How many stories is that about them today? 5? 6? What about the other 91 teams?????
Phil, there are a lot of teams who can have a bearing on the title race despite not being able to win it themselves. Swansea are playing Arsenal tonight so are you going to write an article about Swansea? Thought not. You're obsessed about Midtable United but please find more interesting teams to write about.
They're gone Phil, get over it and write about something else.
Phil your devotion and obvious passion for writing articles relating to Manchester United has become dull, tedius & all to predictable. Whilst I don't wish anybody out of a job I do genuinely think the BBC football section would be better off without you. Even Robbie Savage creates a better read than your good self. I think you should re-evaluate your position as "chief football writer".
Please BBC, please for the love of football, please stop producing articles relating to Manchester United. This is the third article now dedicated to them. There was several talking points over the weekend, Everton continuing to push for European football, a 9 goal thriller in Wales, relegation battles between Sunderland, Norwich, WBA & Hull yet we're left with this utter dross yet again.
Hi Phil, do you ever get the urge to write an article on one of the other 91 football league clubs in the country, since you are supposed to be the Chief Football Writer not the Chief Man United Writer?
Aaaaah thank god for our daily BBC - Man Utd fix. My day almost feels incomplete without a HYS about a team that is going nowhere this season. I mean come on who wants to hear about Man City or Chelsea or the relegation scrap at the bottom. Please Phil keep posting about the important things and doing the heroic job you are as the United fluffer
Hopefully we can write our own posts today irrespective of the inevitable new Manu one that McNulty/the Beeb foist on us!
It would mean the chief football writer would have to research other clubs though, why take the time to do that when you can just write about 1 club all the time
What a surprise, a HYS article by McNulty about Utd, God forbid anyone can comment on anything else.
I thought something was wrong when I saw the first United article wasn't written by Phil McNulty. Good to now see order has been restored.
Spot the difference: BBC Football, or a Manchester United fanzine?
Can anyone ever see a day where a similar placed club in the league say Newcastle would ever have to open HYS articles on their fan support which is loyal and strong and their roil in the league? Nor can I this is a big middle finger to all football fans from the BBC
this is getting daft now 2 united comments sections in 1 night yet nothing on the Chelsea Arsenal game which had many a talking point or Liverpool in the title picture or, how about this novel idea not just focused on top 4 (and bloody united obviously) and look at the relegation scrap or is this just far too revolutionary phil
4-1 doesn't suggest the game was close at all Phil, don't know if you're trying to be clever or what but you sound like an idiot.
I stand corrected Roger, thanks for putting me right.![]()
All Mccunty can think to write about in this exciting league race is that Man Utd can have a say since they are one of the 19 opponents the eventual winner will have to play

The article is **** so here are some highlights from the user comments:
#bbcsalford

MancNutly is a very bitter Evertonian(as witnessed in his Liverpool Echo days)but since he started reporting for bbc salford he's followed their Man Yoo doctrine in full.
Nice comparison.![]()

Unsure how the LBC gets away with its bias tbh.

That's it then, according to bbc salford man yoo are "top of the table"
18:47:Form lines - Man Utd v Man City (19:45 GMT)You must log in or register to see images
Manchester United are top of one table this season. David Moyes's side have won 30 points away from home this season - more than any other Premier League side.
They have been sleepwalking at the Theatre of Dreams though, picking up three points for every two games at Old Trafford on average.
Ominously for the hosts City are unbeaten in their last eight away matches, winning six.

Yes, and "sleepwalking" at home, as opposed to being f**king demolished by every half decent team that visits

Predictable? Just like you Phil writing an article on MU, yet again. City move closer to being ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal's title hopes are absolutely gone and this drivel appears.
Do you write this before the games start so you can get to bed early?
What a surprise! Another comments section devoted to Manchester United! There are 93 other football league teams, but it seems that only a failing giant deserves a comments section!
Hooray!
At last!
Phil McNulty has written about Man Utd.
How many articles about them can we expect today?
Phew, I was getting worried there, we hadn't had a Man United article for at least 24 hours.
First 4 comments on a McNulty man u article on bbcsalford![]()
It's sad seeing the beeb desperately trying to salvage something from the wreckage of a season, and attempting to make it look like Man Useless have been somehow unlucky, as opposed to ****e.
I'd expect this from a fan, but a supposedly neutral news corporation?
