I am not too happy about this response, seems to imply that Players are cheats.
A lot of former and current referees think Poll is a **** so make of that what you will.

Players are people; people cheat.
Players are people; people cheat.
Not all of them?
Look who said it. Graham Poll. Gave out 3 yellows to one player at a World Cup.

Confirmed that Andre Mariner will be reffing our game vs Newcastle next Saturday

Due to the cock up Chamberlain got away with it. He deserved his sending off because for all he knew he was stopping a goal. The ball travelled too far a distance for a reaction stop. If he was rightly awarded the card during the game it would have never been rescinded.

It was confirmed yesterday.
It was going wide. It can't be a red because it has to be for denying a goal or clear goal scoring opportunity. Nothing in the rules about a red card because a player thought he was stopping a goal.![]()
Thats an interesting point but I still don't think that it would have been rescinded if Ox had been sent off.
That's OK, he'll probably send off Dani Osvaldo for fouling Yohan Cabaye.
Don't know, but, even I did, I bet I wouldn't from several yards away. Refs should carry cans of spray paint and mark the offender in case they get lost in a melee.
