OK so we move on to our final 9 games and with 5 of those against teams sitting above us in the league its vital we get a home win against struggling Norwich. Cork is hopefully our only first teamer out of contention so the defence picks itself. Only question is who should start in midfield. For me Davis has been a bit out of sorts in the last couple of games so I'd go with Gaston. Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Vic Morgan Jrod Gaston Adam Rickie Subs Gazza Chambers Maya JWP Davis Reed Gallagher COYR!
Vic in for injured Cork. Lambert's been awful since Fulham. Drop him, J-Rod up top, Gaston moves into the 3 behind.
Once again, I'd like to see either Rodriguez moved up top and Gaston brought in, or Gallagher given a go. Other than that, the same team with Wanyama replacing Cork is fine by me.
We aren't allowed penalties remember. You can handball it in our area if you want, or literally throw Lallana to the floor but it's all completely fine and fair. Norwich will be well up for this game, however if Villa can score 4 past them, I fancy us even with our goal drought to score a couple. I'm gonna say 3-1 Saints.
Hopefully Bassong gives away another penalty. Norwich did look out of sorts against Villa, but their defence is normally good and if Lambert were to play, he will probably get marked out the game and outsmusled and lose the aerial duels against Bassong, so I'd give Rodriguez a go up top and bring in JWP, although Rodriguez seems to play a lot better away from home. Use Gaston and Rickie as impact subs.
I can see there being a few goals. Norwich need to get something from the game so won't just park the bus. If we get an early goal I can see us scoring 3 or 4.
Lamballana - would surprisingly agree with your team and include Gaston for a run out Norwich will park the bus which should give him a chance to show us how he can create opportunities for himself and others without having to run and close down the opponents all the time however MP doesn't like changing the team much so can see the same as Palace with Victor in to replace Corky
I would dispute that Lambo's been awful, he may have appeared to be less effective, but that is more down to role he is being asked to play, that shot that hit the post was very skilfull, haven't seen the replay but did the GK turn it on to the post? His presence is enough for me, his deadball skills are always likely to create problems, and as has been said, no penalties awarded deprives him of his usual quota. One of his best attributes is the header at the far post, but we aren't getting to the byline enough to get any telling crosses in.

Afternoon fellas I'm just after a bit on info for Saturday if pos. First time visitor to st. Mary's this weekend, actually first time to Southampton in fact. Is there parking near to the ground ? Or if not can any one suggest a safe place for away fans to park? Cheers in advance and hope we see a good game.
If you can find your way to Radcliffe Road, SO14 0PH, there are several sites there, ranging between £5.00 to £7.00 depending on which one you use, but be warned it may take time to get away depending on traffic, especially over the railway level crossing. It is useful as it is a short walk to the Ground and there are a couple of pubs nearby, others could give you the gen on them.
Cheers for that Unfortunately pubs don't apply to this trip, its my lads 13th Birthday so i've got wife and two kids along !
