on the 30th of June, as is planned, then i hope that they all get sacked, & people off the dole, who actually want to work, but cannot find employment, take their jobs. Do they actually realise what a priviledged position they occupy. Bet they would soon miss their nice houses & pensions if they were sacked, just greedy ****ers.
The pension age should be 50. The Labour government should use the money they have to chip in to the economy. Hence why I back the Conservatives who are really doing a good job of cleaning up the Labour mess. Back Cameron!!
My work's union is PCS so there are going to be a lot of the mongs outside protesting. Don't know how ****ing lucky they are to have a good paying job these days. Civil servants have it ****ing easy (I've also worked in the private sector). Teachers are the worst though......"What, you aren't going to pay us a huge pension after we've given our all for 10 weeks of every year of our career. Do you know we have to sometimes mark 1+1 tests at home at night.". I agree, sack every one of them and get somebody else to to their jobs. In Scotland 4 out of 5 newly qualified teachers can't get a teaching job. And how about getting prisoners out to collect the bins once a week. ****ing ****ers. Here's another one. My work says that any non-union employee that doesn't turn up for work will be subject to disciplinary procedures. WTF? I try to get into work but if I can't I get penalised while the wasters all sit at home watching Jeremy Kyle and get off with no problem!! This world is crazy, I'm glad I'm on another planet.
Public sector workers have no sympathy from me. They are complaining about pay and pension freezes and job losses when people in the private sector have to deal with all without Unions or the ability to take action. They should dry up and accept that these cuts are not going away.
How much do you think the average wage for a civil servant is ? 23k 35k 50k or 60k. Point if you said 23k. A raise in the minimum wage gave many civil servants a pay rise. I cant remember reading that in the Daily Mail though. People joined the civll service accepting the poor pay for the pension. So Civil Servants are being hit three times - pay more in to the pension, over a longer time and receive less payout on retirement. It is like being burgled without having insurance. If you want my job you are welcome to it. But you will not be able to feed a family without claiming benefits and when you retire you will have to work part time. Of course if you have no money you do not spend so surprise surprise other people lose their jobs. So when unemployment goes up you will be competing for jobs without experience. The logical conclusion is benefits will have to be cut to pay for the extra unemployed, so you really are screwed.
I disagree.We should be looking after teachers ect. so they dont piss off like the nurses did years ago. Time to get behind people like teachers.Some other white collar jobs are over staffed and could be doing with a good quim trim.

It seems people think that Civil Servants are all like the top brass ones they read about in the gutter press, ie. high salaries, claiming expenses, big bonuses etc. For most civil servants the reality is quite different. It also makes me laugh when you hear people railing against the unions. If it wasn't for the unions there would be no equality, no minimum wage, no safeguards from abuse from employers etc. People who work in the private sector seem to be under the impression that they get a rough deal and that those in the public sector are treated better than they are. I've worked in both. I now work in the private sector earning much more money for basically doing the same job I was doing in the public sector.
Th only one's I have any sympathy for are the nurses, they do a fantastic job but I still don't understand why I have to pay for their pensions as well as my own as a tax payer. As for the the teachers, one of the conditions for them to receive pensions should be that they can read and write , judging by the literacy standards of the schoolkids there are very few teachers who can actually do this.
I've worked for years in the private sector, but I've been the last 10 years bin the Civil Service - theres a massively high proportion of lazy ****ers who've been allowed to get away with doing next to **** all for their entire working careers, and think that any change, no matter how small, to bring working practices into the 21st century is some sort of criminal act. These are the epople that give the public sector it's bad name. I won't be striking, what the **** have I got to strike about? six weeks holiday a year, plus all the extra days I can make on flexi working, stroll in any time up til 10 as long as I do a full day, staff discounts on all sorts, decent pay for where I live..Put anyone who works in the Civil Service in a real jon with a week or 2 weeks off a year, when you've got to be in all day every day, and work, they wouldn't last a week.

Not surprising seeing as they would be working for an employer who is breaking the law and makes you work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In my line of work those employed in the public sector are paid vastly better fro being incompetent. I went to college with a guy who went to work with the council. His starting salary (with an HND as his highest qualification) was £30kP.A. he was and still is entirely useless at his job. I have been working in the private sector for 6 years and i am higher qualified, more experienced and better at my job than he is and yet earn around half of that. I dont get a pension from my employer, i dont get flexi time and haven't had a pay rise for 3 years. So you can ram that statement about the public sector getting paid worse right up your **** pipe. Everyone who works for the council is incompetent and too lazy to survive in the real world. Public sector workers should not get a pay rise at a time when the rest of us are taking cuts to ensure we still have a job next year. Unions served their purpose in the industrial revolution and have no place in an office environment.
First of all, council workers are not civil servants. Secondly, because you get ****ed in the private sector everyone else should suffer like you? And you're honestly arrogant enough to think that you are a typical example of public v private sector? Thirdly, by the sound of you it's no surprise you're in a **** job. Your attitude stinks and you have victim mentality written all over you.
